while this may be true, and I have a lot of love for Midwestern Americans in general, given they hold many pro-Western values, I worry more about what's going on at the University of Wisconsin. As someone in their 20s, I am looking around at my generation and have genuine fear for the future of Jewish life in the United States because of the "campus protest idiots." The youth of our nation is heading down a dark path and we need to invest more NOW in having these discussions, even in places like "little Wisconsin," where it may SEEM like things are all good, but antisemitic hatred could be waiting for the age demographic shift.
They are the smartest kids and I am proud of the students for doing their research and standing up for the Palestinians who have been suffering for 76 years.
