According to new laws passed the traffic police dont hold authority to stop anyone on the streets. So the corrupt part is kinda right. Being a goan its just makes me angry that they take money of tourists like this.
$10 gets you a McDonald's meal with a burger, fries and a sugar drink in the US. The burger is mostly bread the meat patty is so thin. And the meat used is all the ground pices of different kinds of meat with preservatives. The fries are soaked in sugar water with more preservatives. And the sugar drink is sugar for a diabetic high! That is what $10 gets in the US. 😢😢😢 I would die to eat that meal of yours!! it looks so delicious!

Please be cautioned when you use terms like “Corrupt Police Officers”, you could get deported. As they are agents of the law, irrespective if they are corrupt or not. Also the corruption is 99% taking a bribe instead of writing you a ticket for the crime, yes, be aware of the local laws, ie Road access, International licence, Helmets for both rider / pillion, Vehicle registration certificate. If you’re adhering to the law, you just insist on not breaking any rules and you will be able to drive off.
