last 5 -10 years the Dolphins ( as a fan, flown on my dime, players pay cheques for games) deserve a really nice bus or two to remind them of their college days where you gave all and left it on the field not on a bank account.
Very light load out downstairs. I get the consistancy for FAs but bit of a stretch for the same pilots to be rostered for the flights. That must be interesting rig and bid wise.
@@fastkarr8256 Miami base so only management and check/training CAs will get that bid. Usually they come with free tickets/hospitality suites etc. They share it among themselves over the season to stay current. Line pilots have zero chance of winning those bids. It's the only sort of work you'd see the brass bid reserve for.
Atlas also charters for the DoD. The food looks a lot different than what NFL players get. Nothing like a dry struggle sandwich from AAFES on a 16 hour flight...
Awesome video, so is this 747-400 purchased by Atlas for this type of scenario, football or professional sports, travel? Meaning is it just sitting there until someone calls to book it or is it reserved specifically for the @MiamiDolphins?
These planes are charter passengers planes . Dolphins and jaguars and even ravens get reserve the plane for game days or for whenever they need it . When they are not flying NFL teams around they are usually used to fly military tropos around .
Most of Atlas’s revenue comes from flying freight or transporting military personal/cargo for the USA. The do have a couple passenger config 747s like this in a vip setup for sports teams
They have 7 or so 747-400s in pax configuration, 2 are VIP. They're only charter so no, they don't have one sitting around waiting for the Dolphins, they book when they want to use it. Lots of bands touring and even film companies that want to transport cast, crew and equipment to location use them a lot.
a lot of them work with the different positions; QB, RB, WR TE all have their own coaches along with multiple assistants, same with the positions on the defense. Then you have your offensive and defensive coordinators and they each have several assistants
“They depart from Miami” two seconds later “The plan departs from Fort Lauderdale” I wish ppl would stop intertwining the two. FTL is it’s own great place, put some respect on us
I think she means the flight originates in Miami which is an Atlas hub, so they take off from Miami, land in Fort Lauderdale to pick up the team then head off to where they are playing
It's unbelievable how spoiled these guys are cratered to waited on hand and foot and the money spent.just imagine the hundred millions wasted on these fooz will do better for the poor and homelessness of this country.
Stop crying whether you like it or not is Tua and Grier. Fans like you have me laughing so hard. Sit back and enjoy another year. And if the win playoff game forgot it. Sit back and enjoy atleast 3 more years😂😂😂
You know your life is empty and pointless when you follow a rival teams youtube page just to say some shit a 13 year old to come up with. Your garbage ass team made a feel bad for me reel when they had to dig out of a snow storm. Been here in the Mohawk valley for 32 years never cried about snow.
You know your team ain't making no moves when you come to look at another team in your division and how they travel. #BillsAintWhoWeThoughtTheyWere 🐬🐬⬆️⬆️ Let's GO!!
It’s great to see the 747 still being used like this. It’s a beautiful aircraft. The configuration looks 1st Class all the way.
lol, wonder if they made the restrooms bigger??
@WRic86 I'm sure they do for the team. Can't imagine most of our oline & dline can fit in there
I've been a part of this process for multiple sports teams. It ain't easy ! Respect to all those who do it 👏🏼
Thanks for getting the guys safely from A to B 🙏
Need more insight and videos like this!
More behind the scenes stuff throughout camp and the season please 🙏
Thanks for the hard work all y’all
The way they have looked this year they should walk home 😂😂
I have suggested that the Cowboys go home on a yellow school bus with no food, toilets or heat because of how they are poorly playing.
Cool behind the scenes video! Go Dolphins!!!
Love this. First class organization, finally! Fins Up!!!
Such interesting insights - thanks so much for sharing : - )
YES THIS VIDEO IS HERE
This is similar service to public bus service in Sweden :) Specialy when it is heavy snow or rain..
This video is way too short. So interesting!
Very nice not a Dolphin fan but very nice job. I thought Atlas just did cargo.

Air Fins One!
Awesome. Too bad the jet doesn’t have the Dolphins’ logo or colors on the outside! Fins up!🐬🤙🏽
This is interesting stuff
Atlas, is Great
Wonder in the cabin is like a tomb if the Fish lose the road game?

The military used to charter Atlas for deployments.
I was thinking it was not like that when I flew Atlas 😢
I’m always at the airport watching them leave
that sounds dope
@@yapdollar1another cool thing is if they play a team up north the team plane flys over my house
Do the players get to fly the plane
Absolutely
Once the team arrived at their destination, plane stay with them or do they do another charter and pick them up a day or 2 later…
they wait since in the NFL the team usually flies home after the game

As they say, you get what you pay for.
Can't even imagine how much money goes into working with atlas and their 747 because gas on those planes is GGs
Nice
Had no idea. Thought Atlas did nothing but cargo.
The greatest football team
Lol
I beg your pardon…..🤨
The Buffalo Bills say otherwise 😂

The Browns fly a United 777.
Some of the NBA teams fly United 757's.

I just learned something bout dolphins twitter😂
The cost I want to know the cost for each trip how much is it costing what is the cost give me the cost
my guess, close to 100k per hour flight time.
Glad to see the pilot has regulation PilotHair™
This is a big plane; what happens when you are flying into a city with an airport that can't fit that 747? Such as maybe the runway is too short.
all the cities that have an NFL team have a big enough airport
@@slappymcgillicuddy7532Green Bay ?
why not get your own plane?
costs way more, especially for only a football season
why should they? waste of money. it’ll only be used 8-10 weeks on and off throughout the entire year
And people wonder why tickets to games cost so much!
69 players, 30 coaches? Almost one coach to 2 players? Why? How?

Anyone that has flown Atlas for the military knows they will be broken and has service members load everyone’s luggage. 😂
ha, did that with Omni in 2006;)
30+ coaches for 60 players? Isn't that a bit overkill? 😂
not really, the head coach and about 13 for offense, 13 for defense and 4 special teams coaches.
