Fear-Of-Missing-Out. Basically exclusivity. Think about how in Overwatch, when Skins or other cosmetics are directly in a Battlepass, once the season ends there is no way to get it anymore. In Rivals, you can get the Season 0 Battlepass at any point in the future.
The FPS drop is the go-to tell when enemy team is using a portal in ranked. It's kinda hilarious, you see the FPS drop and instantly the whole team starts looking for the portal xD
I know next to nothing about Marvel because I've seen like three movies and I know that there's both a lot of movies and other media and that a good chunk of them are connected which I personally found too overwhelming to try to get into. Same problem with DC.
For what it's worth, while the movies and comics do build up to their own larger universes, you generally only have to understand what the status quo is to understand any given story, unless it's explicitly a follow-up, and you can usually figure out the status quo from context clues. The comics especially are good at this, because they understand that there's literally decades of issues behind them and most people can't even get their hands on them, let alone read them. The movies did get worse about after 2019-2020 and are still kinda floundering due to a lack of quality, but if you're interested in hero comics then they're pretty easy to get into despite the amount of history behind them
I like it when Tom does the can-can
I am fairly sure they have said the heroes are all free forever going the route of ow1 on that and you moreso buy cosmetics than the chars.
Yup, that's right!
I'm so very happy the game has an anti-FOMO Battlepass. This should be a standard.
I'm guessing it's buying/micro transactions related but what is FOMO?

Fair warning about Doctor Strange's portals: they can cause severe FPS drops for everyone involved.

This game did its job. I enjoyed playing as Moon Knight so much that I finally checked out his MCU miniseries, and found it pretty great!
Yeees Moon Knight was so good! They need to quit stalling and green light s2 already! 😭
seeing tom start with squirrel girl makes me happy
I can't watch this, it's Chilled's fault I'm stuck playing Marvel Snap, why why?
