Good finish to a rather mediocre BBL 08. Here are my thoughts 1. It was way too long, older seasons were short and interesting. Quality is better than quantity 2. Divided commentators, missed great commentary (such as gilly’s) on the channel i was getting BBL. Gosh Brad Hogde is so overrated. Only consolation was Ricky Ponting. 3. Need more prominent overseas players. Lacking big names from major cricketing nations. Poor management (I understand star players leave due to international duties but why do players like Lamichhane leave mid season to go and play other leagues and then come back?) Only the last two games saved BBL some skin from what was a disappointing season. @CA, next time please improve your highlights. Put in more time, show more angles of “highlighted” moments (some highlights missed wicket fall completely!) Good luck for BBL 09, i hope CA will learn from this one and provide us a better summer next time around. Cheers!
