"When did life become so cheap? Have we always been so fragile? I have lived many lifetimes, I've watched empires rise and fall, I've played politics, I've fallen in love and stood by as love died and what do I have to show for it? Nothing. I am eternal, you are not, but rest assured - the end I give you is a greater mercy than having to exist for yet another DAMN NIGHT." - Galeb
There's a smoldering anger under the music, just BEGGING to be let loose to wreck some havoc. Fits well with Galeb's whole "I'm over this" vibe that comes from being the final elder in Boston.
I disagree with you about the music telling us what this character is about in this instance. Looking at his demeanor and his surrounding, I would say at first glance he is probably Ventrue or Brujah, maybe Tremere. However, the fact that his hands are full of blood, I am tempted to believe that he fought his way through this encounter, and while Tremere may learn combat, you would think a sorcerer would find some kind of ritual or something to sort the problem. Assuming he is Camarilla, if he is not, then Lasombra, probably be a good bet. I would think a clan with Fortitude and or Celerity would be wanted in this sort of scenario. He sits as though he likes the appearance of a gentleman, so his image is important. This is what lead me toward ventrue. The monster behind the genteel veneer. A true blue blood. After writing all of that, the music tells nothing about the Ventrue he is. Not saying it is a bad song; I actually like it. Not even saying that it's not a right fit for that scene, but I disagree that they choose the right music to convey who he is.
@@Barthenn he is a ventrue, also it seems he is a master at manipulating minds, which at least as how i remember, was a power of the ventrue in bloodlines 1. I would say the song fits him great
@@blackwolf4766 A classical music would have suited a Ventrue a 1000% better than this. This song would be better suited for maybe a Nosferatu, Tremere or Brujah maybe Gangrel. Yes I would say Gangrel. I think would fit best to this music.
@@Barthenn There is a twisted and timeless existential darkness and dehumanization of a lost soul - one that still holds a precious few shreds of life and feeling, vying and tearing and screaming inside. Utterly unheard but by the observer that is us. The music fits perfectly. The trailers and bits of gameplay released so far reveal these traits and elements within him, which brings context to the feeling behind the track.
@@Barthenn The thing about this character from what I know is he's very old. That's his main theme and that's what the music tries to encapsulate, not specificaly his clan.
@@ScoldedLuck is he? He surely showed some high levels in Fortitude. A Lasombra would have turned into an eldritch monstrosity made of shadow and shoved the assassin's weapon down his throat with the Potence-filled arm.
Is this what plays when Caleb escorts Jason Moore out of his apartment? I can't find the spefic part that plays in that scene but it gave me chills with each and every decision to see Caleb handle all obstacles while walking in a calm civilised manner while Jason is barely keeping up and almost crawling on all fours
I'll try my best here cause sadly I couldn't get answers from reddit - I'm looking for a specific theme that plays very often while roaming around or being in a confrontation. In this video, it starts around 0:37: /watch?v=UZNqGhaUmx4&ab_channel=Ruba Couldn't find anything in the official soundtrack or additional sound files. Can somebody help?

Heavy is the head that wears the crown, heavy is the hand that shreds the guitar.
Galeb is a master of doing badass things while cool music plays. You know shit is about to go down when you hear his theme. Hero boss music

This is such such a good song! It really gives a good idea of the kind of person he is.

He's such a badass, I love him
Damm the Blue bloods and their indestructiblity
He’s a Lasombra I don’t believe they share that blue blooded population quite like their sibling clan the Ventrue
