Fishing for Catfish at Swangey Lakes, Norfolk | New PB!
Finally managed to put a catfish on the bank! It's took me all year to actually put a catfish on the bank. After multiple loses and blanks the session kicked off as soon as the bats started flying about.
1 run which didn't turn into anything, a hook up then the fish dropped it, snapped line and finally a new personal best.
Caught on the @riggedreadytravelfishingro7803 Smuggler Max using Squid rigged on a long hair rig with a size 4 circle hook.
The smuggler max by Rigged and Ready Travel Rods was really put to the test with this fish and it just shows what a great travel rod these are. Whether you're beach fishing, pike fishing, carp fishing or feathering for Mackerel it is a great all round, heavy duty rod.
