Hull-based carper Danny has been one of the most successful anglers on the A1 Pits complex in Nottinghamshire over the past few years, landing large numbers of fish from the biggest lake on the venue, Pit 6.
As any angler who has fished this popular day-ticket water will know, the ability to fish and bait accurately at range is absolutely vital, as carp regularly patrol the many bars that bisect this 50-acre pit.
In this piece, Danny explains to us how he tackles this captivating lake and offers all sorts of advice on fishing effectively at range.

Any recommendation on 13ft rods - what was used in the video?
Hi James the rods I used in the film was the 13ft shimino tx2 intensity's rods I believe they are 3 and 3 quarter t/c

Nice Video! How much is the weight of the Bobbins and do you get a clear indication on a drop back, even with undertow? Kind regards from Germany :)
They are the large korda ones. With the extra 30g weights on . The one I lost on the film the bobbin hit the floor in 3 beeps buddy
@@dannyfox23 thank you very much for your answer. I have the Solar Titanium with the short arm in use, but I never had the chance to compare them to a Bobbin on a far range. Very nice work with the video. Love carp fishing!
