Do you usually have someone else pull focus wirelessly when you operate a steadicam or do you try to keep the subject in the same focal plane as best as you can? Love how you de-mystefy the ever-elusive steadicam, especially in a gimbal heavy world!!
i always use a focus puller. the only time i don't is when its in the broadcast world but its a different thing and quite a bit easier. Thanks so much, im glad i could help!
Glad to find this BTS! keep up the good work! How about the camera movement where trippie redd keeps looking at the camera while the camera switch angles in a swift and sharp way, almost like it's on a robot arm, how is that done?
Thanks! I appreciate it 😁 That shot was not me, so I didn't want to talk about it like I had anything to do with it hahaha. But your right, it was a robot arm.
Hey man i love the video but i would also love to hear a bit more from you about how you approach this kind of Shots and what the process with the Director is. If there is anything to tell of course. Kepp up the good work!
thanks man! ill keep it in mind. its sometimes hard to find a shot like that and one where the DP, who is my boss, would be ok with me talking about our discussions.
stedired and trippie redd. WHAT a coincidence.
whoever was in charge of the shots for the car drifting is a pro
the drone shots really look crazy
