Kuhn’s makes a really nice strip till bar. They make or build a lot of them here in Hutchinson Ks where I live. Love to drive by and see new things they are testing in the yard👍

Thanks for the awesome video mike. These Fendt/Challenger tractors are amazing. Over 500 hp in a 1050 with the fuel efficiency of a tractor half its capabilities. Very fine machines
It's not a Challenger !! Challenger just uses the Fendt model because they aren't able to produce this quality of machinery them self . They are built in Marktoberdorf Germany they al come out of the Fendt factory only different color and branding .

But as we all know you pay for quality. Fendt has always been developing new and better ways farm. If you are interested you can find stuff on TH-cam about their development over the years, they also develop the Vario transmission system .

Just how does the Fendt compare to the same high horsepower John Deere or Case IH tractors. I know dealer representation isn't very strong at all and that will make a huge decision. Still like to know how they compare.
I don't think there is anything comparable, it is basically a 9r converted to a standart tractor and make it run on low rpm. The 8400r is quite a bit less HP, CaseIh Magnum the same.
As far as I know you can only compare it to high HP articulated tractors, since nobody else make standard tractor this size. According to some big tractor power videos farmers like for fuel economy compared to articulated models this size.
It’s the flagship of fixed frame tractors, and the pride of Europe. Fendt, especially the 1000 series, has no competition. The price however shows exactly that. They are expensive yet top of the line.

Noah Ranker the 1050 is one of the newest Fendts on the market, we have a nearly 10 year old 939 on our farm and it still uses DEF, but it would be cool to know how to disable it
