Someone in the video mentioned she puts them in when driving 40 minutes and then takes them out when she's done. I know we need to leave them in for at least the recommended time by our dentists, but is it safe to leave them in longer?
It doesn't necessarily help you to wear them longer, but it doesn't hurt you either
Does the medication expire? I have a few bottles left from about a year ago

First day using them. The treatment says for 7 days. But my dentist said to use them till my next visit which is in 6 weeks. Is that a big deal?
This is a treatment that is safe to use indefinitely. Whiter teeth, fresher breath. I've been using my trays for 15 years. It is the best homecare treatment I've found.
Do you brush your teeth before using the trays? Do you brush and use mouth wash after the medication time has been completed? I just recently got mine
Brushing before you use the trays removes the superficial bacteria, and the gel work better to get to the deeper areas where the bacterium hide.
Can I drink liquids after using my Periodontal Care or do I have to wait a certain period of time to do so? I don't remember what my dentist said.
The Peri trays given by Western Dental dont have the P logo on the teeth trays
If there are no Perio Protect logos on the trays, they are not FDA-cleared Perio Trays. If you are using a dental tray with no research behind it and no FDA clearance, please be careful.
Same here... and bought them at western dental and they don’t have the logo on them, just the actual case has the logo

My dentist isn’t an official Perio protect provider; though I recently got some trays from them, with the Perio gel. However, the trays I received don’t look like the official Perio protect trays. 🤔
The official trays have a blue P "shield" logo running through them. If you didn't get the official trays, your trays are not FDA-cleared for patients, and there is likely no research to prove that they are safe or that they will even work. The Perio Protect Perio Trays have their own ADA insurance code, and if this office submitted for dental insurance under this code with a tray that they made in their own office, they are also committing insurance fraud. So, it's a pretty big deal. If you were told they were Perio Trays by Perio Protect and they don't have the logo, you should absolutely ask for your money back. Sorry!
