Yes but they're still full of power and if you've ever seen how they kill a deer they snap the c spine and they know how to kill effectively wether injuries or not... They are very strong all muscle all power
I do, trust me I respect wildlife. But when they're injured roaming around the city and no one takes it seriously this is how a human death or someones child or pet gets killed. I think about the children and the elderly out there... @@jaehparrk
Not too long ago in CA two brothers were antler shed hunting and one got killed by a lion so... It happens... Can't be in denial these are apex predators...
This mountain lion is LIMPING! He/she is hurt. Do they have anything in Colorado to rescue them? Just curious. 👀 Probably why the lion is roaming. ~ glad the little doggie is good & congrats on cancer healing.❤️🩹
Colorado, like all states have an agency assigned to deal with wildlife. However, their response times have always been absolute garbage and most (urban) Coloradans won't know how to contact the right office. There are few "rescue" societies that would legally be allowed to handle any wild animal. The local police and animal control won't normally respond, unless a claim is made that the animal threatened, or attacked a person. At that point, the local authorities "intervention" would basically be a bullet(s). Sadly, unless this injured cougar finds it's way out of the urban labyrinth, it'll end up dead in a violent encounter with an automobile, or a bullet. until then, if you're in this area, keep your pets locked inside.
I think it was the man (not dog,) who survived a black bear and cancer. Fluffy only avoided a mountain lion and likely still doesnt know he was in danger!😊
I was looking for a 'seeing stars' comment. In fact, I got a laugh at that when the guy said the mountain lion looked up, maybe he was seeing stars....
I know this story is about a wild animal crossing paths w this man and his dog but I couldn’t help but melt that this big guy loves his dog so much. I admire his big heart and love for his furry friend
Good daddy and thank you for protecting your baby and hope the big lion will not get hurt (hurts no one and animals) and return back to where it belongs
@@Gruesome-TwosumCircle of life. Idiot human trappers trapped the lion and didn't properly dealt with it which I don't know if it's even legal to hunt them where they are at because last I checked they are protected and I approve plus support that over idiot poachers and their miserable lives, anyway, and now the lion is injured and may not be able to hunt effectively their usual prey items and now have to settle for easier prey like livestock or pet animals, like your rabbits or domestic cats and dogs. The guy is being untruthful about the entire incident, in my opinion. His attention seeking could very well get the cougar killed. Of course, if Colorado's wildlife authorities don't get their crap together, the animal is likely to get run-over sooner than later.
I'm so glad you saved your dog. I had a pom mix for 17 years and she was the best dog I've had in 66 years. She died a couple years ago and I still miss her everyday. I hope you and your dog have more happy years together.
1) Someone just learned how to roll his R’s 😂 2) Ain’t nobody knows by seeing a mountain lion that it was the same one on the news a week before. But I’m proud of the dad for protecting his doggy ❤
This was mountain lion country before people swarmed their land. In this particular instance, the mountain lion was probably a young, inexperienced lion. Most mountain lions leave people alone. The mountain lion saw the small dog that might have wandered a sufficient distance from its owner.
The expert speaks 🤣 Or you could just be wrong. Which you are. The mountain Lion is hurt and looking for easy prey because it can’t hunt well. Don’t let that get in your way of your profound expertise though.
This is why a dog should always be on a leash when you take it outside, despite the poor dog getting bitten by a bear and another dog,the owner still goes out with the dog running around without a leash.
I'm in southern California and I was recently stalked by a mountain lion, but luckily I was just about done with my hike and my car was very close. It looked like it was adolescent, but I was still scared
lol this guy is brave and funny. I’m laughing cause he says he kicked it and the cat was seeing stars. I’d be the cat’s dinner with my pet. I’d just freeze for sure
That cat is injured. You can see it limping and this is very likely why it went after them as Moutain Lions usually avoid people. It's not able to catch its preferred deer with that limp so it is forced to go after easier prey. We have Moutain Lions in San Diego too. They mainly followed the deer.
Im so glad you and your baby are ok. Unfortunately, we are taking over territory of the wild things. What are they to do, especially if they're injured and unable to hunt normal prey?
The first time I saw a mountain lion I thought the same thing....That's the biggest cat I've ever seen..then realizing it was a lion when I saw it's long tail I was shocked. It looked at me and growled. I was living next to the Garden of the Gods Park near Manitou Springs and the mountain lions would come down from the foothills and hunt people's pets.
I know they are just a few blocks west of where i am living. They are at home, the cities are encroaching upon them. I am familiar with where this guy was in the photo-clip.
