As a child I would always fall asleep to the sound of my mom rummaging through her makeup bag or purse before we left for Sunday church. Thank you for this perfect asmr session!

No talking or whispering is my preferred trigger as well. In my personal memories of sound , I don’t see faces looming in my face or voices at all. Dad was in the study shuffling his papers, mom was tinkering in the kitchen. I don’t get that other kind of ASMR. I’m trying to recreate real memories. But some people do have memories of faces and whispering so I will fulfill those requests as often as possible even though I cannot relate quite.
Kids are asleep, sipping on Constant Comment, playing Rebecca's ASMR in the background, throwing a sock matching party with myself. Wednesday night projects people 😆

In almost every video I do, I try to make it naturally occurring and as close as possible to what a person might really do. After all, our triggers are developed in real life. Thank you LO. 👜 ❤️
Also I appreciate your no talking videos so much! Soft spoken has its moments but often when I’m trying to fall asleep I get to interested in what’s being said instead of relaxing 😂

After the second video i subscribed. 🙂 You have a unique style of ASMR creation based on everyday items and situations totally relatable to everybody. Nothing fancy... just real life stuff. i LOVE it when your cat appears now and then too... like when you unpacked the groceries and a tail appeared just over the table top... right when you pulled the chicken out if i remember. Lol. Its the little everyday things that you turn into a work of audio art 🙂👍. I call that.. clever!

Aaaaah! I loved going through my grandma, mom and aunts purses like spring cleaning as a kid. I got to keep all the money and stale candy I found. That was like a treasure hunt for me.😆 the worst part is running into old used tissues😂 Rebecca is an ASMR pro❤️
That sounds so wonderful Khensani! My mother was too neat and sparing because my dad was rather stingy. She kept one purse and one person only. No loose change or money to be found anywhere. As a child I got caught rummaging through The purses at the house of the kids I was babysitting. I never got asked back there again. lol 😂 it was very Traumatic for me but I survived.

Love it. A video roleplaying with purses, like you will go to your purse grab the wallet to pay for something or search the purse for lipstick would be awesome. Or better yet, grab your notebook, write something, put it back, then grab the phone... Like there would be a purpose for handling the purses and it would seem natural and unintentional. Don't know just love this sounds and love when ASMR is unintentional.

I worked as a cashier for a few months when I was in high school...the best part was getting to watch women with nice nails digging thru their wallets for money or credit cards.
I worked as a cashier in my teen years too. But I have no recollection of the purses or the hands or the nails. I guess I was not impressed. Then again I am old enough to be your mother most likely so...Things are not the same today as they were when I was young.

Oh that’s priceless Geslina! You gave me a chuckle. OK so maybe you’re old enough to be MY mother. LOL I am 59 in April. I’m just so used to talking to a lot of really young folks in my comments. I worked at Kmart in 1978. It was such a nondescript time in many ways. Was not that long ago and I was working at a convenience station. I never paid attention to anybody’s hands unless they were wearing acrylic nails. But I was very aware of peoples moods and expressions and verbiage. Faces. So I would comment on their moods and expressions. But none of it created great memories or ASMR triggers. That’s weird that I don’t have any from there. I used to work at Cracker Barrel as a cashier also. I’ve been in retail quite a bit. I owned my own gift shop for three years. Lots of triggers with that experience but they have more to do with sight and smell than anything else. Excuse my rambling. 🤭
Rebecca’s Beautiful ASMR Addiction ok so you ARE older than me....but just by a few months! Where I worked was a garden center in a very affluent neighborhood. All the women were stay at home moms, probably had housekeepers, and most had beautiful manicures. My fist ASMR memories were from third grade, there was a boy in my class who had very big dry hands, and all his papers and notebooks were a mess, and I loved watching him fiddle with them. Librarians, and teachers too, if they had nice hands...when they would hand out those mimeographed papers with the purple ink- back in the day before copy machines and printers....yikes. Time sure does fly.
Oh my goodness Geslina! I have that exact same memory of messy notebooks! I also remember the girls who snuck candy or snacks into class. I guess the delicacy of their hands trying to sneak bites of their snack would come into play. I think it’s a whole package. Sight, sound and smell. Anyway, school was definitely a trigger making environment. It’s kind of cool that you and I are the same age. Do you live in the states?

S B, I will explain my dilemma. On my channel I try to stay true to naturally occurring sounds as opposed to standing in one spot scratching on a purse in front of the camera repetitiously. If I were to do you something like what was requested I would have to find a way for it to be naturally occurring. I invite ideas as to how that could be done. It simply baffles me at this point how I would make this video into something realistic. I just refuse to be like other ASMRrtists that weirdly caress and tap on stuff. That never happens in real life. See what I mean? 😃

Would you ever do a chapstick ASMR? Like pulling them out of your purse and showing/tapping the containers? Maybe put your lip balms in a leather bag that makes sounds and toss the lip balms on each other and pull them out one by one so we can we the color and brand while getting the sounds? Just an idea.
I have videos similar to that in my rummaging playlist. But I have to say honestly that I probably wouldn’t get that specific. Thank you for asking.

I decorate with warm colors. However, this video is definitely fall time. I did quite a few videos throughout the season.
