For those of us who have no Fucking idea what the CC-1 does, or the SS3 or the G2 or the P1, it makes sense to explain what they are supposed to be clones of. I have no clue and the demo was entertaining, but not at all informative. Sadly. I’d guess the CC-1 is some kind of buffer of compressor? No idea what circuits the units are based on either. It’d be great of you to do some video editing to put in written descriptions of what each pedal is for and what it does. Thanks.

They're not clones. In fact they precede most older pedals that are now clones.

i'd take the P-1 over the other three combined. my gawd that pedal is completely BALLS! And I actually love the CC-1 too. Sweet and clean. classy demo. cheers!

I bought a couple of Pete Cornish pedals, I couldn't wait for them to arrive but wasn't that impressed, I didn't think they were any better than other pedals I had at third the price. The gain on my Mesa Nomad sounded much better than anything I get from these pedals.

So what all do these pedals do, whats the difference, etc? You should have told us a lot more about them.

Question- for Shnobel or anyone else out there. I've got most of these Cornish units featured here & also his ST-2 & LD-3. Up until about a week ago, I'd used them with my Twin Reverb '68 reissue. I happened to come across a decent deal on a VOX AC-30H2 (handwired, blue alnico's, etc) recently, so I grabbed it. I'm blown away at HOW MUCH BETTER all of the Cornish pedals sound with the AC-30 as opposed to the Twin. I'd really been having a hard time with the Twin dialing them in to where they didn't sound flubby & also kind of noisy. I was getting pretty bummed & stopped using them with the Twin, & just started running straight thru the Tube Driver instead & it sounded more natural to me. But with the AC-30, it's a whole different ball park. Each of the Cornish pedals sound fantastic, crisp & clear, & much more practical to use. I was just curious if anyone had any insight as to the drastic difference. I know a lot of guys use the AC-30 with these; maybe it's just better suited for use with the Cornish stuff. The Twin sounds great in other ways, but the Cornish pedals (it seems) were meant to stay right next to the VOX, & for me, they WILL ! Cheers, & thanx !!

I have a CC1. Of course there are lots of good pedal around. But the cornish feels and react as an amp. And that’s what you feel under the fingers. Is not only about the sound. There are no reasons for pedals at 400 dollars that sound better then a 250 one. Cornish are really different in my opinion.

You can get same sounds from 150$ pedals , but the way he buffers his stuff and attention to detail in his pedal boards is second to none , as is his delay pedal based on the Boss dd2 big chip great pedal, these Boss dd2 pedals are so overlooked no one does it the way that pedal does it, the way re records original signal instead of just re recording the echo signal that most digital delays do, that's why Cornish uses the dd2

Those pedals sound great but you can easily achieve that sound by using 2 amps with a tubescreamer going into to one amp and a light fuzz into another ie. One need to be completely detached from reality to pay 4 figures on a stompbox, David Gilmour didn't pay for his I bet!

As for the comment which I tried,
    black has many midranges.
    Gray is wide-range.

These sound great but in my humble opinion, they are priced out of reach for what they really are capable of. There are SO many really great pedal builders with pedals at half or even a quarter of what these sell for...and they're readily available. I really don't understand all the hype, other than a few notable guitarists who can afford them, use them.
