Hi Steve It helps to get to know everyone that works at local thrifts...I know a manager at my local thrift store that allows me to look in the back before they bring books out yeah !

I actually did something like this. I listed an ad on nextdoor neighbor it just said books wanted. You would not believe how many people messages me to come get the books. I got over 200 books just from that ad. But the cool thing was one lady said she runs estate sales and is always looking for someone to take them last day😁 and another lady called me I had my number on the ad asked what I was doing with the books I told her and she said she's very good friends with a program called friends of the library and she will keep me in mind if she comes across books🙂
@Raiken Profit If you go to Walmart, they have ear candles. It is not painful at all and it will help with the sinus issue. Also, I would take oregano oil capsules to kill the infection and boost up on probiotics to strengthen the immune system. Presto

Sometimes just bought hours from the time I find them perhaps on the airplanes I clean. What would say is the best way to sell them? They are mostly fiction books and I find they don’t do well on EBay. So would it be beneficial to open a FBA acct. for this sole purpose?
Typically fiction is on the lower end of resell. You can definitely try it FBA, but you might do better finding a local book shop with a buying program!

I stop by shops on the way to pick up the kids so i would rather spend less time and grab 10 then go home and scan/list and just donate the lesser ones.
Textbooks and non-fiction books typically sell the best! I would suggest looking through the sold listings as you can, so you can get a feel for what is selling.

Sometimes it can be hard, you just got to keep at it! Expand your horizons and visit new locations to source, try different days of the week, try totally new methods of sourcing such as looking for under priced units online!

Having a handheld bluetooth scanner makes it easier and much faster!

It's not easy. The Golden days of easy profits are far in the past. You really have to be resourceful now to find valuable books
