Using Circle hooks back during the last big Albacore bite on a 2 1/2 day charter on The Big Game 90 I hooked and landed 51 fish without a single loss, including the Jackpot which was 35 pounds. I used 40# Big Game clear line exclusively! My fishing buddy landed 40 fish himself. The reason we were allowed to go over the daily limit of 5 was because several anglers out of the 31 aboard either didn’t fish, were sick or just didn’t get bit! The boat count that day was 456 Albacore! The trip of a lifetime, without a doubt! 😎
