They, STILL had those small Texas towns that had Whites living in the Better parts of their towns and the Blacks and Hispanics living Segregated from their communities. They had in their hearts, the MISPLACED hatred for the PEOPLE who they STOLE the land from, and where they now live! Not everyone was like that, but TOO MANY had NO problem, MAINTAINING that DEFECTIVE way of life! I haven’t been back there since I left that BACKWARDS part of my state. I have HOPE that the younger generations LEARN to live together in peace and friendship. What I experienced there, was the LEARNED hate and bigotry coming DOWN from the OLD grumpy, discontent folks, who still Want slavery and too Lazy to Work the land to make it produce. The “make america great again” is a DISGUISE to go back to when Slavery was prominent and made America, GREAT and Rich, on the backs of my Black brothers! Texas has reaped the riches from the hands that used to OWN and worked these lands, from being GUESTS, to Stealing from their LANDLORDS. The Spanish, but mainly, the MEXICANS, did NOT want ANYTHING to do with Slavery. I guess that’s Why they hated us both!

Some white family is benefiting from those properties today. Also, people should realized when a person is lynched or a victim of a genocidal massacre, that severe the continuance of that person’s lineage of descendants forever. All descendants of the Slocum massacre survivors are due Reparations.
