An elderly nurse I knew that if asked to assist Male patients was told by the sister to produce some large forceps with serrated edges, after which the Male patient would suddenly realise he could wash himself after all!
A former friend of mine was on work experience in an old folks home when she was fifteen or sixteen. She told me there was an old man that she had to help get dressed whenever she was there who demanded that she tuck his vest into his underpants, and she did it. I would have bluntly refused to help the old pervert.
I'm long retired now, but when I worked in the ICU, we had several males nurses, most of them average size. However, there was one who was 6'6", 330 pounds. Biggest teddy bear ever for the staff and most patients, but whenever we got a belligerent male patient in who roared at the nurses and aides, we'd just ask big Nurse Dude to come into the room. NEVER failed, the patient would see this giant walk in with a deep frown on his face and a growling, deep voice that boomed out, "WHAT SEEMS TO BE YOUR PROBLEM??!!," and there would immediately be a quavering squeak of a voice--"Nothing, nothing at all, sir, nothing, everything's fine!" Nurse Dude would then help the female nurses do whatever needed to be done, and then he'd walk out of the room. Worked beautifully every single time.
Having met Danny DeVito and his wife Rhea Pearlman while working at a theme park, I can tell you that they are indeed the antithesis of most of the characters they have portrayed. A thoroughly nice and polite couple who were quite friendly to all the workers. Their teenage (at the time) son was very polite as well.
@ 7:11 :D Anyone remember the movie Groundhog Day with Bill Murray? I read a joke years ago where somebody suggested that a "remake" of Groundhog Day be widely and thoroughly advertised and when it hit theaters *everywhere* excited people would go and all they'd see would be a repeat of the exact same movie we saw back in 1993. LOL.....
9:41 To be fair to the marathon guy (Philippides), he didn't just run 26 miles, he did so after fighting an entire battle, which is an exhausting experience all on its own.
9:46 Yeah, Phidippides died after running to Athens from Marathon, but he had first run from Athens to Sparta, from Sparta back to Athens, then from Athens to the battlefield at Marathon, then fought a battle before finally running back to Athens. Is it any wonder he died!
I clicked on the video thumbnail, and an ad started. It was about sending a care package to a depressed friend. The logo and font on the box looked a lot like that on a bottle of Southern Comfort. I thought damn, that's brilliant! 😂
@robstockton911 I've seen that ad since, and the product is dry soup mix. If I sent that to depressed friend, they would probably think it was a mean practical joke and demand a bottle of the real thing.
I have to say it... this is probably the best compilation you have done so far in my opinion. I had quite a number of laughs along the way ... and to top it all, THE MUSIC WAS OK! (except last 2 mins when reverted to bad) First time like ever when I could watch unmuted!!! Well done guys 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
5:00 Unfortunately, Fyre Fest wasn't really rich people suffering. It was a bunch of regular people who got convinced by the value proposition of a 700$-1000$ for a week-long island paradise vacation and scraped together the money for it. There's no solid evidence that any of the crazy-expensive deluxe packages for the idle rich (that would have made up for the expected costs) were ever sold. Just a douchebag scam through and through.

Steve Buscemi later played a God who stayed in heaven and almost shut down the Earth project because it was going so badly. That TV show is called Miracle Workers, and it stars Daniel Radcliffe
0:34 Danny DeVito is a great man, very thoughtful and generous with his time and attention to those around him, so this little snippet does not surprise me. The epitome of goodness. 6:45 I know what they call him now. (Insert Steven He voice) Faayyliure. DISappoooiiintment. Stoooooopid. 12:02 Yes. One of my ex -wife's friends was going out with a car guy like myself. We were good buddies for years, even after the divorce. Unfortunately he moved out of state and we lost touch.
I've often said we need many more male nurses.... really big male nurses. (35+ years of nursing and weirdos)😂

Rhea Perlman once said in an interview (I’m paraphrasing), “I wish actress was just another job title, like teacher or nurse.”
Did he start shouting he had AIDS so he could get on the front of the lines for the rides?

You just know we'd all go . . .and LOVE it!! LOL
I would go and not be disappointed.
I would so go to a theater and watch Groundhog Day on Groundhog Day. And the day after. And the day after.

It's a shame the horses had not yet been invented.

Way to go, Sarah Silverman! 😂
She does a lot of stuff that I don't laugh at, but name a comedian whose everything I laugh at, but, boy, did I laugh out loud at that one.
Way to go, Jeremy Parish!
Yessss, Sarah Silverman, seize that moment! 😅❤
Love the Pavlov one.

Very very funny. 😂
I guess we should start expecting bald eagles to show up at the presidents speeches and elections now. :)
0:48 So anyway, I started adopting!
thank you Happy Land, you cheered me up after my breakup
Thank you, Abby Govindan... forwarded to one of my fave DJT critics... just PERFECT. 8-)
Tickled at the MOT one....Met my husband at an SCCA race.

I understand that at the Last Supper, Jesus said to the waiter, "Separate checks."
Well, all he had was tea and salad. Judas had two orders of lambchops, and Peter had like six whiskey sours.

I want to know what that nurse is going to do when the patient turns out to be bi.
As a former deli clerk I can totally relate to 13:21. Worst job I’ve ever had.
