The Orange army is known to travel worldwide to see sportsmen and sportswomen and cheer them on and take care of the happy atmosphere at, in this case, a circuit. Real racing fans used to never boo at another diver. Its the newbies who act like that and that’s a real shame because true race fans normally don’t stoop to that level. But.. having said that. I’m proud of the Orange army making it a party and fun on the grandstands and cheer Max on! It’s a total vibe! And they set a new benchmark in fan engagement at the Dutch GP!

Silverstone fans show no respect for Max whatsoever, and will boo him every time he ventures out of the garage, there was even fighting at the last race when Hamilton fans attacked and put a Verstappen fan in hospital. In contrast, the Dutch fans have taken it to the opposite extreme, and just completely ignore Hamilton, they don't even acknowledge he's there. They can't be accused of booing him anymore.
To be fair, the booing was only bad after Lewis punted Max off at Silverstone. Can't really blame them for that one.
And the English crowd seeming to cheer when it happened. That pissed off a lot of people.

No matter what sport, you can always spot the Dutch fans in seconds, and i am not even talking about the obvious color Orange.
A blind person can find the Dutch fans in seconds, and i mean that literally, not as a tasteless joke, you hear the fans before you're anywhere near.
Basically... just follow the party sounds, that's where you'll find the Dutch fans.
Any sporting event is a good excuse to party. If a Dutchman is doing well the party gets bigger simpel as that
Yes the boo yelling, please understand 🙏 . We needed to get it out of our systems, because we disagree on Silverstone. After that we can race again. Like you see. We applaud him after. That is F1 compared to soccer. WE can all go to the same Cafe. And watch the race. That's what makes this sport so beautiful. We can be all for a different driver. And still sit next to eachother. We don't need security or different areas. The loser pays the beers 🍻. Simple as that.

It where not only Dutch fans in Hungary that boo there where fins and Polish fans and it was on the dirty behavior in qualification in Hungary. But he the British press tell they where Dutch so that “true”
I would take Max’s fans over Lewis fans (and British fans in general) ANY day, they who boo and hiss literally anyone and anything…they’ve taken their bad behavior from football and export it to other sports.
As Nico Rosberg said after winning at Silverstone ajd asked if the loud booing (totally uncalled for and embarrassing not for him but for the ‘fans’ who heaped disrepute on themselves and not Nico) affected him, ‘No; they’re British fans, what else do you expect’. Pretty much sums them up.

Here in the Netherlands we have 2 sayings that fit the dutch fans perfectly, 1st is , Doe maar normaal, dan doe je al gek genoeg. Translating to Just act normal because that crazy enough, purposely a statement that the dutch are a tad fanatic and crazy in their core. And The second one would be that we are "prettig gestoord". Translating to , pleasantly disturbed. well i guess that sums it up.

Silverstone fans show no respect for Max whatsoever, and will boo him every time he ventures out of the garage, there was even fighting at the last race when Hamilton fans attacked and put a Verstappen fan in hospital.
In contrast, the Dutch fans have taken it to the opposite extreme, and just completely ignore Hamilton, they don't even acknowledge he's there. They can't be accused of booing him anymore.
