@@cxcevents He was likely thinking he still has to add tier 5 slates, which will have to be extracted from the bottom of the phantomface. But then he blocked it off with cables anyway so idk either.
Dire, personally i NEVER seen the point of the capacity runes on the altar. if you get an equilibrium of Sacrifice and Speed runes you'll get a TON of LP super quick... also, the higer tier of the altar = more runes. Also, hurting passive mobs give you even more LP and there's an Astral Sorcery ritual to heal passive creatures which will heal them faster than they are taking damage. behold the power you could have been harnessing. if you don't want to be as op you should at least try it for yourself in your test world
poijn ve I mean, there are witches in the dark room as a byproduct, and possibly will be a majority as time progresses. To got into detail, the drop of evil spawns multiple monsters however, because when witches spawn and heal themselves to offset the slow rate of damage, thus witches survive while still providing LP while the rest die- leading to an unintentional covenant in a dark room.
poijn ve That is entirely possible, I don’t remember what another youtuber (lividcoffee) did with his setup, I know it had witches but, I don’t remember if they were named or if the chunk was loaded. Ether way, if he can keep the witches around he can get all that free LP like you said.
@@Dr.Sho_Minamimoto it will probably a lot of witch with name in cell, so they can't despawn and run out, it like the most effisency way to do it, since it just nothing but a few name tag and whitch xD, and of coruse you put a lot of runes that increase the amount of blood you get per tick
I feel like cursed earth slows down when there's already mobs on it. You seem to be getting enough lp already, but it might be worthwhile to have seperate spawning and killing zones.
omg people... Dire has never been one for compact builds. he's gotten a little bit better over time but this is Dire here, he does builds spaced out so that everyone can see exactly what is happening and how. Not to mention he builds with random mods to show alternate ways of how to get stuff done in case the mods that are well known and versed aren't in a pack. At least you'll still be able to accomplish what you want. Just be thankful that we have someone who knows the mods and actually enjoys playing MC and uploads routinely. All while not being overtly annoying like "those" tubers we all hate to watch, you know the type. video starts and immediately quick paced yelling into the mic, playing on those stupid vanilla "wannabe" modded crack servers with 200 people on them.
Really enjoying the problem solving and the build. Never had the patience to get Blood Magic runes going before and now I'm curious. The wireless/ phantom face option is great for decorative builds. Thanks.
So the ritual from Astral Sorcery can't hinder mobs from spawning if they spawn on cursed earth. That's something I've never tried before so it is good to know
Next time Dire asks for a Blood Magic build, maybe the creators should include certain blocks so that at least one of the Beacons will actually function (such as for some added Regen).
MUCH more efficient way to do this: * A single four-slot drawer * A single itemduct with a single Signalum/Enderium retriever. * Storage bus on the drawer * Interface set to provide stone. * Itemduct going from Interface to Altar, with Retriever set to pull only a single item into the altar (so altar doesn't get stuffed) set to redstone control * Level emitter set to (insert number of each type of rune you want pre-crafted) to send redstone signal to Retriever on altar. Logic process: If there is less than desired number of runes, level emitter sends signal to retriever pulling a piece of stone from the Interface to the Altar, then automatically bubble-sorts to fill whatever empty slots exist (if you have enough Blank Runes, then the retriever won't pull the blank rune and it will automatically continue to Reinforced and so forth). If there is desired number of all runes, then level emitter doesn't send signal, Retriever is incapable of pulling stone as it is does not have redstone signal, and so altar is left blank. Bonus Automation! Use NOT gate set up to a place to store your Orb. When level emitter is on, it pulls the orb out of the altar so it can accept stone. When the level emitter is turned off, the NOT gate activates servo to send the orb back into the altar.
I think you could do even without AE, just using redstone upgrades for the drawers. Have it send out redstone based on least full drawer, if not 15 then insert stone. There are 5 tiers of slates, so you need at least two drawers already, might as well throw in a drawer controller. Now you have space to store stone waiting to be crafted. Get rid of the interface, throw the storage bus on the controller. Set the bus priority high because you want the excess slates to go back to drawers, right? Add the 5 slate types and stone to the storage bus filter. If you have a steady income of stone already from some cobbleworks setup, your drawer should fill automagically, giving you this whole setup for a low price of one AE2 channel.
@@MikrySoft You certainly could. However, the purpose of the exercise was to keep a set number of them crafted *and available in the AE network*, which is why I went about it in this manner. I'd also say do away with the Interface in favor of a simple Export Bus, but it's harder to keep it from stuffing the Altar, hence the Interface and the Retriever to act as a throttle.
I was hoping that he would have used redstone relays from thermal. It would have simplified and made it more compact. But I so love using red alloy wire
Hi everyone, i have a problem with funky locomotion. I can't find frame cover in minecraft 1.12.2 ,do i have to add another mod to get the frame cover? Mcmultipart or forgemultipart? Please help me. Thanks!
I'm pretty sure interfaces can insert directly into phantom faces.. and level emitters could go directly below the servos.. this could have been a lot neater / simpler - but you already knew that, I bet. 😜
What if you craft tier 2 and tier 3 slates at the same time? I think 2 of your servoes should be on then since you dont wait for either slate crafting to finish
If you craft 2 or more at the same time it'll still work, given that the redstone signal turns off once it receives the finished product. It sends enough to do both, just the lower tier slates will be finished first, then work their way up.
in the 1.12 direwolf pack, there is a mod that lets you place blocks in the block that the player is standing in. Which mod does this, and how can i dissable it? Thanks
