I like how they added the Fidget Spinners to further support the season taking place in 2016. Considering that the height of the Fidget Spinner’s popularity was in 2016.

The compy that stowaway on the camper’s boat can also be link to the Jurassic park novel of the compies that got to Costa Rica from the cargo ships.
And also raptors on the boat also.

I think there was one more reference, although this could be a stretch, when Yaz tells the rest of the campers about her nightmares and they all begin sharing theirs, Kenji's nightmare is apparently about him flying on a plane and being stuck in the middle seat between two Scorpius Rex's. I don't know about you, but when I first heard this, I immediately thought of the scene in JP3 where Alan has a dream where he is on a plane sitting next to a velociraptor.

@Blue The Velociraptor It was confirmed by the showrunners that it was the same Spino from JP3.
@Blue The Velociraptor In one of the interviews for season 4, showrunner Scott Kreamer brings up the Spinosaurus and mentions that there's "a good chance that it's the same on from JP3".

I would say the ceratosaurus running towards the elevator is more similar to the indoraptor charging the elevator in Fallen Kingdom and the spinosaurus grabbing the door reminded me more of the indominus rex escaping its enclosure. But that's just me.

Dr. Turner very much reminded me of Dr. Sarah Harding. (And perhaps a bit of Dr. Richard Levine from the novel, studying Tyrannosaurus behavior at their nest.) I feel Dr. Turner could have played a larger role in the second half of the fourth season; hopefully she gets another chance to shine in season five.
I really like her character. Stark opposite from Mitch and Tiff. She's just super genuine and gentle with the kids. You can tell she loves them.
When Sammy and Dr. Turner use sticks to defend themselves from velociraptors, it might be a reference to the deleted scene from Jurassic Park III where Udesky does the same thing.
The sleeping spinosaurus is similar to the famous unused concept art about the sleeping T. rex for the first Jurassic Park movie.
The song Dr. Turner was humming reminded me of the jingle from JP3... You know, the phone.
At the end of episode 6, Darius calls his brother, could be a nod to JP3 where Grant called Ellie.
On episode 4 of season 4 At 21:14 Kenji seas what he has nightmares about. Isn't that a reference to Alan Grant dreaming on the plane?

The surgery on the baby brachiosaurus was a call back to the surgery on Blue in Fallen Kingdom, as well as the sandstorm consuming the campers being a reference to the ash cloud consuming Owen.
5:04 I was seriously wondering if they were going to make the connection that
Kash was related to Dennis Nedry. There was so much evidence pointing towards him being related to Dennis. He could have even been an adaption of Dennis’s Nephew, Danny Nedermeyer from Nickelodeon’s The Legend Of Isla Nublar. It could have made great world building, and a cool connection to the original 1993 movie. It also would have better helped us understand why he had no sympathy for the Dinosaurs. Considering that Dennis’s cause of death was a Dilophosaurus.
Maybe it's still possible, I mean I thought of the same exact thing and kash's last name was never revealed.
It was also mentioned that the dilophosaurus was the only dinosaur Kash seemed afraid of and wanted nothing to do with.
I like that idea, but the conversation between Ian Malcolm and John Hammond in the beginning of The Lost World (Mentioning only 3 deaths on Nublar: Gennaro, Ray Arnold, and Muldoon) implies that Nedry was never found, so how do they know he died to the Dilophosaurus?
@@Dvailen That is a very valid point. I don’t believe anyone ever found Dennis’ remains besides Miles Chadwick (who died shortly after) and Nima Cruz. And I have gone over in extensive detail why only the Bad Ending in JP:TG can be canon. And since Nima dies in that ending, then she was never able to spread the whereabouts of Dennis’ remains. But perhaps what was left of Nedry was found in 2002 when they were cleaning up Isla Nublar to construct Jurassic World, but that’s complete speculation.
@emmet_schmidt Mildly related, that same conversation also implies that the worker (Joffrey) who was mauled by the raptor in the beginning of JP was the same worker who was helicoptered off-shore to a clinic in Costa Rica in the beginning of the JP Novel, who was also mauled by a raptor.
There is another reference you missed. When Kenji starts coughing which wakes up the T Rex is a reference to the og book in which Lex starts coughing which wakes up the Rex
When the ceratosaurus runs into the elevator door, it’s also a reference to when the Indoraptor hits the elevator door before the auctioneer is killed. Also, when the spinosaurus almost gets into the airlock and grabs the door, it’s a reference to when the Indominus Rex escapes. Finally, the part where the group is surrounded by raptors may also have been a reference to the end of Jurassic World, right before the Indominus shows up on Main Street.

Season 4 was amazing. I had my doubts at first with the whole “invisible walls leading to different biomes” bit but it was explained nicely. I was pleasantly surprised there were more episodes this season.

Personally, I think that the Ceratosaurus charging at the elevator is a nod/reference to the Indoraptor in Fallen Kingdom.
You missed the reference to Grant’s dream when Kenji describes his nightmares with the Scorpius
The whole scene of Mosasaurus attacking the boat is clearly Jaws

When the Rexes start fighting, one of the, fall into a little ditch. An Easter egg to JWD prologue when the Giga did the same

But in all seriousness, it's been so long since I've played "Scan Command (or its OTHER version, "Dinosaur Battles")," I didn't think this season would be operating so much on the same wavelength as that early 2000s game, nor the shoutouts to "Warpath." Unexpected, but *interesting* nods to pieces of wider franchise material.
I could not tell you how excited I was when the spinosaurs came in, I was literally searching for this Dino FOREVER in the previous seasons
Kash reminds me of a more psychotic version of Danny Nedermeyer from the LEGO Jurassic World series, "Legend of Isla Nublar".
Loved how they incorporated Scan Command and Warpath into the film Canon. However, I did notice that Mantahcorp’s drone tech is very reminiscent of the drone tech from Jurassic World: Alive. Perhaps the game could be Soft-Canon, and the story could be that Mantahcorp began continuing their work on the dinosaurs that were loose on the mainland after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
the elevator scene is from Fallen Kingdom. There were a couple other ones that had better references as well. but still fun to watch
For the scene of the BRAD almost finding the campers reminded me of LOTR- when the Nazgul nearly catch the hobbits. Everytime I see a scene similar to that my first thought is LOTR
So there's a moment in the show where the campers are talking about there nightmares and kenji is talking about his nightmare naw this one might be a stretch but what he described he was on a plane then looking over to see a ScorpiusRex next to him that might be a referents to the 3 movie when Dr Allen Grant had a nightmare about being on the plane looking over to see a raptor next to him

When the Smilidon cornered the campers and got killed by Spinosaurus is kinda reference to how Rexy saved Alan, Ellie, and the kids from Raptor attack in the end of JP1.
I was so excited so I watched the entire season in one day it was epic
I knew Kenji’s dad was the mastermind. Also, I hope Cash gets the Dennis Nedry treatment for everything that he did to the dinosaurs and May. 😤

Now here's an Easter egg that came as a surprise; earlier, I remarked how much I enjoyed Dr. Mae Enfys Turner's character and how I hope she'll have a larger role to play in season five.
I knew Enfys was a reference to Star Wars (and the Welsh language, as Dr. Turner explains its meaning to Ben), but looking up information about the character and the actress who voiced her, Google informed me that singer Tina Turner's real name is... Anna Mae Bullock.
Coincidence? I think not. ;)
Can I just say that the Kentrosaurus and T-Rex fight kinda reminded me of JWE, since in both of them, the dinosaurs were forced to fight out of their own will, just like what you have to do in JWE to complete a fighting contract.
The part when the mom T-rex wrabs its daughter's neck and pushing it off the pit, is a refference to the Jurassic World Sominion's Prologue when the Giganotosaurus wrabs Rexy's neck and pushing her in the pit of water.

I loved S4. It's honestly my 2nd fav season. I loved the character development, the new characters, the dinosaurs and the more vicious take on Dinosaur battles, like this season has the most blood in the show at this point and I can only imagine how vicious S5 will get.
I know some are complaining but I don't think their nitpicks are really anything big, I only think the overuse of the robots could've been trimmed down for more Spino and dinosaur action. That's about it. Like I have a ton more critics of S2.
Oh and I love the content keep up the good work

I may have missed something here, but how does an island facility maintain a freezing temperature within an equatorial region? For an island that has not been previously mentioned or located on a map, it would require a massive amount of electricity to run the operations and this would be noticed. Also the number of employees? The years of construction of the island during the operational time of Jurassic World? What about the parents and how they are not looking for their children?

I like to say that the ceratosarurs trying to eat Darius and Cash in the elevator is a nod to the indoraptor almost to eat the people in the elevator but way different.
I think on the show they said that the two t-rexes are mother and daughter, so that means if they are from Isla Sorna, then we are seeing the baby dinosaur grown up
Edit: also i feel like they changed the color of the baby brachiosaurus to brown which gives it a land before time reference

It's cool that Smilodon was in this season. It's also cool that the Smilodon is the 1st animal in the franchise that isn't from the Mesozoic. It would be cool if the saw Mammoths in season 5

They had a joke crossover in the Lego Jurassic World game, where the characters from Jaws witness the T. rex rampaging through San Diego.
But the Lego games or the Lego TV show isn’t canon

When the t-Rex is in medbay, you can see the scorpios like spikes
Pierce wasn't sick, he was cold and the Brachiosauruses on Sorna were males. Firecracker is a female, that's why she looks different.
By the way, Darius removing Pierce's spike from T-Rex's body is probably a reference to him removing the quill of Scorpios Rex from Sinoceratops.
We literally saw female green brachi’s in JP3 though. It can literally be explained as it’s a separate brachi genome on Sorna.
That rex is likely going to be a very useful if dangerous ally later. It saw and knew Darius helped it remove the spike. So its likely going to hesitate trying to kill him if it encounters him again and go for something else. Perhaps something that is attacking him.

Futurama had an episode called "Jurassic Bark" where they're about to clone a fossilized dog that belonged to Fry. The show ends with him saying something along the lines of, "He lived a long happy life and probably forgot about me." Then the show flashes back to the dog when it was alive, and shows him sadly sitting and waiting for his owner to come back, and eventually dying there.
Episode 10 of Season 4 ends in a pretty similar way to that episode of Futurama, with Ben saying Bumpy had probably forgotten all about him, then flashing over to Bumpy waiting for him at the treehouse.
Just finished watching season 4 we need more Kenji and Brook scene and Kenjis dad which was revealed in the ending I was so mad omg we need more
The T. rexes in CC season 4 are not the couple from The Lost World. They're said to be mother and daughter. So no Buck. Maybe Doe and Baby, though.
There may be one another reference, when some of the kids are running around the cargo crates trying to escape the ceratosaurus, İt can be areference to Jurassic Park: the game from the last scene
10:08-10:29 Maybe some Nublar dinosaurs were cloned on Isla Sorna, and then were transported from that island to the one we see in Season 4. That could explain how and why a brown brachiosaurus is on Mantah Corp’s island in season 4.

Robots are an Easter egg to Kingsman 2 beacuse the red interface them being dogs and them saying that turner is friend (well authorized life form) and then the robots turning on who they say is friend.

Not my favorite season, but it had enough good stuff to make it...passable but I'm still excited for season 5

Possible Easter egg? One of the thoughts I had were that the t-rex pair might be the mother and baby that were taken off Sorna and brought to San Diego and then presumably back to the island, since CC mentioned they were mother and daughter.
Except Junior from TLW was a male t-rex.
Fun Fact:Speaking of Spinosaurus the Spinosaurus from camp cretaceous 4 is still the spinosaurus from Jurassic Park 3 2001 so planes grabed the spino then bringed it on the new island which may be isla sorna or another island

If you can count callbacks to earlier seasons then Darius waking up is a callback to S1:E4 when Darius has flashbacks when the indominus wrecks the outpost as the angle of the camera is the same

When the mosasaurus attacks the boat in the first episode, the music played is the same as the music played in season one, one Yaz was trying to escape the mosasaurus. I think, I am sure of.
the Kentrosaurus wasn't sick because of the berries. he was weak because he was in a cold and snowy environment, he didn't belong in that biome
i think that when kash and darius was in the elevator and the ceratosaurs charging at them i think its a refrence to the indoraptor elevator atack scene in fallen kingdom
