    I’m starting to think that Camp Cretaceous follows a reverse of the Star Trek movie trend, where even-numbered seasons end up less good and odd-numbered seasons are a lot better. When Colin Trevorrow said that his favourite scene in Camp Cretaceous was in this season, I seriously wonder what he was talking about.

    i was really disappointed with season 4.. i think they went too much with the robots and the saber tooth. Plus how is Darius character is more worried about saving the dinosaurs instead of their own lives after all they been through! on the other had i liked that the relationships between the kids developed more , specifically talking about PTSD after the events on Isla Nublar. But the higher note is the end because even though the kids are presumed dead, i like how the finale intersects with the questions of how the families are dealing with such horrible end to the kids and of course now we know why Kenji is an attention seeker because his dad.. boy his dad is really the most surprising twist. overall it wasnt as good as the first 3 because of the technology and robots and simlulation island but as for the rest i liked it has the same energy and of course characters development

    Each season of Camp Cretaceous has had its strong and weak points; I'm happy to report the strong points of this newest season far outweigh the weaker ones for me.
    Without spoiling anything, and having finished the full season just now, I'm glad the show's creators did not take the story to Isla Sorna. This new direction and island were surprising and did not just keep us in the dark, but the campers, too.
    I unironically enjoyed this fourth season very much. The friendship between the campers is tested several times, and the effects of their misadventures on Isla Nublar are beginning to take a toll on them; season four goes further and takes more risks than the other seasons, but it succeeds as keeping most of it believable, and if not believable, it's at the very least an edge-of-your-seat adventure.

    I don't mind the technological advances as in this universe if they were able to clone dinosaurs before 1993 then surely other advances in technology would've been made.
    Jurassic Park/World is science fiction after all.
    Jurassic World featured holograms so robots are not hard of a stretch.
    I'm not saying that the franchise needs robots but that it wouldn't be that unbelievable with new advances in technology.

      @@mlgodzilla4206 I completely disagree. There’s no need to put all that stuff in the next Jurassic World movie and really, in any of the Jurassic contents. Having the technology to clone dinosaurs is the premise on which this franchise has been built upon. This is literally the thing that supports the whole story. And as far fetched as it could be, this element still feels completely plausible and is accepted in the realm of this story. It’s the key factor. Any first season CC lovers? The first few episodes were kind of rough, but it did kick off and was pretty tense. This season was fantastic, IMO. There was a lot more diversity in the settings, and although Kash was a cartoony villain, it didn't bother me a lot. The things which I didn't like was that the internal problems of the cast were solved far too quickly. Kenji's hatred of Darius was resolved in a single episode, making it not very satisfactory. I think they could've delved deeper into Yasima's PTSD and really showed how affected she was, other than just being solved in a few episodes. I liked Brooklynn's breakdown while trying to hack a BRAD-X, but it wasn't really foreshadowed beforehand and just came out of the blue, and wasn't that impactful or great.
    But still, this season was fun and enjoyable, and I'd put it as the best season of CC right now.

    Imo if the production team didn't wanna go to Isla Sorna they shouldve left it alone... Don't take away the spinosaurus and the Tyrannosaurs only to abandon it again! Also why the hyper modern stuff? I get they wanna do something new but we just had a season thats about hybrids AGAIN so why not make one revolving around real dinosaurs again instead of robots and hybrids? Like Owen said:"they are dinosaurs! Wow enough."
    They shouldve gone to Isla Sorna imo and had Manticore or Biosyn have a secret base there were they captured the dinosaurs to bring them to some base on the mainland(They could even let them escape there at the end of the season allowing Sorna dinosaurs to be in future movies on the mainland!)

      @@hanwers3047 Based on certain lines in both Fallen Kingdom and season 4, the recent writers have given up on Sorna, which is idiotic, as that Island is a multi-biome Island that is even larger than Nublar, and you have multiple islands in the chain to mess with as well, so each one could have unique ecosystems with different dinosaurs or even prehistoric mammals, birds, amphibians, bugs, and even other extinct reptiles being on the different Islands.
      A line from Fallen Kingdom, "Geologists now predict an extinction level event that will kill off the last living dinosaurs on the planet." ...What happened to Sorna? Evidently nothing is alive there anymore! What happened to cause this ecological disaster? Who knows, and who cares ( We the fans do yah nitwits).
      This season didn't even attempt to answer the Sorna question, and I have a feeling it is because the writers wanted to get away from the "flop" that is JP 3. Except they liked the crazy Spinosaurus and the idea of a T-Rex family, so the question probably became how can we answer the Sorna question without returning there? Rival corporations doing shenanigans that somehow never get noticed. Their desire to stay away from Sorna created and left a lot of massive plot holes which is one of the main reasons I didn't like this season, aside from ridiculously high-tech sci-fi stuff.
      I fear though that Kash was meant as a way for the writers to pre-emptively poke fun at "us arm-chair man-babies" who offer up our criticisms of what they have done with the franchise we love. In other words, it may be another one of the writers attempts to "slyly" insert a bit of wokeness into the series. Usually they aren't very overt with it and as such it is easy to miss it unless you are very closely paying attention to what the characters are doing and saying.
      Anyways, sorry for the little rant there at the end, but that is what I see as why they did what they did. A lot of modern writers seem to mostly be 2-bit hacks who have a love for gimmicks or those who have been unduly influenced by said 2-bit hacks and the most vocal parts of their franchise's fandom (which are usually of the "woke" variety). I fear that the writers of Camp Cretaceous are a mix of the two, resulting in Season 4.

    Well, I said I would be right back here once I've watched Season 4, so here I am. :) After watching it, my initial opinion on this season more or less aligns with *yours,* strangely enough: this season is a _mixed bag_ for me. I LOVE the character development and dynamics among the Campers, they're definitely the strongest point of this season such as Kenji and Brooklynn's romance and Yaz's PTSD. Dr, Mae Turner I do like (I like that she does genuinely care for the island's animals and comes to care for the Campers), and while I'm TRYING to get into Kash as like the 'new Dennis Nedry' so to speak, his constant temper tantrums and whole personality ARE a turn-off for me. I at least *tolerate* him, though.
    It's just REALLY *STRANGE* to me as well that there's this whole new island located within the same radius as Isla Nublar, that's completely off the grid. It just leaves more questions than answers about it. The *technology* in this season DOES feel a _little_ TOO 'Sci Fi.' Yes, the "Jurassic Park/World" franchise is known for introducing high technology concepts, but up until this point, the technology concepts seen in the films and the first three seasons of this series have _something_ of a basis/grounding in _real life._ OK, the first generation B.R.A.D.s I'm willing to accept, given what I know about the real-life Boston Dynamics robots, but the second generation B.R.A.D-Xs? To quote _Angry Video Game Nerd,_ *"WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?! I know, I know...they WEREN'T thinking!"* And I'd REALLY like some kind of explanation as to the technology behind the artificial biomes themselves (as long as it's believable).
    Personally, the dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures in this season didn't come across to me as mere prop pieces, and most were indeed another strong point of this season. WELCOME BACK, SPINOSAURUS and ESPECIALLY *DILOPHOSAURUS* for me (we haven't seen that species since *1993* )! The _saber-toothed Smilodon_ I feel is a VERY welcome addition that SHOULD be talked about more; I've been wanting _prehistoric mammals_ to be featured in the franchise at some point, and in some way, shape, or form. And this Smilodon was utilized in a, dare I say it, BETTER way than its counterparts were in that HORRENDOUS Sy Fy B-flick, "Attack of the Sabretooth (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Attack_of_the_Sabretooth)." I wasn't sure at first about the two new 'Spinoceratops' hybrids Angel ad Rebel, but they actually did manage to win me over. :) Same for Firecracker the baby Brachiosaurus. A Kentrosaurus named 'Pierce?' Yeah, I can dig that (no pun intended). For dinosaur characters like him, Angel, and Rebel, the writers did good in getting you (the audience) to sympathize with them. The method that Dr. Turner uses to communicate with them, to me, doesn't seem THAT far-fetched. And since that IS something of a nod to "Scan Command," it's interesting that the team behind the show would go to _that_ piece of wider franchise material for inspiration.
    Overall, I give "Campe Cretaceous Season 4 a 6.5/10.

      @markcobuzzi826 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I binged the season last weekend and have a lot of the same opinions as yours, down below:
      1.) I too can perfectly accept the regular BRADs, as well as the small aerial drones. Not only did they feel close enough to our own world’s robots, but I also thought they fit in with the original Jurassic Park’s themes. Both the novel and the film had this element, where the park was dangerously understaffed, relying too heavily on cutting-edge automation to secure and manage its chaotic living systems. Because the standard BRADs and drones also performed the same tasks as human workers (like herding dinosaurs, recapturing dinosaurs, managing their altered food, and keeping security tabs on the biomes), it made Mantah Corps’ island feel like it still operated in a similar way as InGen’s Jurassic Park/World.
      2.) I would have been perfectly fine with the BRAD-Xs as well, if their advanced abilities were downplayed and their intended roles on Mantah Corps’ island made more sense. For example, rather than Kash seemingly pulling an army of them out of thin air, the BRAD-X’s could have simply been established as a more expensive and rare model, reserved only for emergencies involving the most dangerous dinosaurs. That way, it would make Kash using the BRAD-Xs to go after the kids look abnormal, improvised, and at odds with his own employers, in-universe. We would not have to suspend our disbelief, that this is normal for Mantah Corp to have a convenient army of Star Wars-style battle droids ready to be unleashed on their enemies.
      3.) The BRAD-X’s could have looked and acted exactly like the first-generation BRADs, only larger, more durable, and painted black. I disliked how the BRAD-X’s looked like upright reptilian aliens (though, I would have accepted them occasionally standing up to survey the environment) and could seemingly shoot fireballs from their mouths (as oppose to the taser projectiles and knock-out gas, which Jurassic World’s ACU teams and/or regular BRADs were believably equipped with). This added to how they felt more like something which belongs in Star Wars, Terminator, Power Rangers, etc. rather than Jurassic Park. They also competed too much with the actual dinosaurs, for that role as the main man-made threat to our protagonists (especially when the Indominus Rex and Indoraptor were established to be revolutionary weapon prototypes, only for the BRAD-Xs to undermine that already-divisive subplot).
      4.) I actually did not mind the subplot with that scientist researching how to “talk” with dinosaurs. That is because I have already seen real people in nature documentaries attempt to do similar things, with modern animals that communicate vocally. For example, I saw African park rangers interact with elephants, by recording their vocalizations, studying how they react to each other’s sounds, and seeing if they themselves can provoke the same responses by playing back those sounds. During those scenes, the dinosaurs themselves did not feel any more anthropomorphized, than what I already saw earlier with Bumpy.
      5.) So far, I do not mind Kash himself much as a villain. I found him to basically be Dennis Nedry, if he was more willing to directly get his hands dirty, in pursuit of his goals. However, I do feel that the technology surrounding Kash made him look too cartoony at points, such as his aforementioned army of BRAD-Xs, plus that part where the drones herding the T-Rex and Kentrosaurus had to be controlled by his own elaborate hand movements.
      6.) I thought the main characters were as good as ever. Even though Kenji and Brooklyn’s romantic subplot did seem a little spontaneous, I did not have an issue with that. The only part I thought could have been given a little more focus was how Season 3 ended on a more sour note, between Kenji and Darius. I felt Kenji had legitimate argument, when he thought Darius went too far in endangering his friends, for the sake the helping the animals and fighting unscrupulous people, against whom average teenagers would be out of their depth. Of course, that is not to say that Darius’ motifs were not understandable too.
      7.) I figured that Kenji’s father could be brought in as a plot twist, to potentially play an antagonistic role. Now that we know they went all out and had Kenji be high up in Mantah Corp, I find that very intriguing and want to see what they do with it in Season 5.
      8.) One minor thing I found confusing was the desert area. Was it supposed to be the island’s natural environment, or was it supposed to be another enclosed artificial biome? Unless I missed something, the kids seemed to wash ashore on the island, then immediately find themselves in that environment after walking away from the coast, without entering any facility.
      9.) As awesome as it was to finally see the Spinosaurus’ return and Smilodon’s introduction, I can see why some people thought it was unused potential. I still feel that it creates a huge hole in Fallen Kingdom’s narrative, when we are meant to believe that Isla Nublar’s dinosaurs are the last of their kind, while many of those same dinosaurs previously being on Isla Sorna goes unaddressed in the films themselves (notwithstanding obscure spinoff lore of questionable canonicity). I am all for Camp Cretaceous introducing new locations, but Season 4’s brief acknowledgements of Isla Sorna presented an opportunity to address that. Plus, the fact that non-Mesozoic/non-reptile creatures are now part of the world sounds like a huge expansion, which could have been given more development than a mention of Dr. Wu’s mammoth bones and the Smilodon’s two action scenes.
      10.) As another minor nitpick, I noticed an absence of the Spinosaurus’ unique roars, which people made fan-edits to add back in.

      @@markcobuzzi826 I read ALL of your thoughts, buddy (😉). We apparently have a LOT to say about this season, which is a good thing.
      You highlighted, IMO, a PERFECT way to 'fix' the BRAD-Xs; having them just simply be larger, 'break-glass-in-case-of-emergency' models of the first-generation BRADs painted black would've gone over better, I feel. Though it IS a good observation on your part of how the BRADs and BRAD-Xs work as extensions of the original novel and film's themes of technology reliance, the BRAD-Xs in particular are just _'jumping the shark'_ for me (ironic that I say that given that Yaz mentions in this season's first episode seeing a certain shark movie when she was a kid that "...really messed me up"). Interesting fact; the showrunners initially *weren't* going to have the BRADs and BRAD-Xs be featured in this season, but they changed their minds when they saw footage of Boston Dynamic's dog-like robots.
      Even though the level of TOO-high technology in this season is my personal biggest issue (except for Dr. Turner's research into communicating with the animals), I still genuinely liked this season (👍). Though I wished they implemented the trademark roars, it was still nice to see the Spinosaurus again. And let's not forget the long-awaited return of the *Dilophosaurus!* 😊

    Lost World took place in Isla Sorna where we are introduced to the parent T. rexs and the baby Rex. In Jurassic Park three we’re back on Sorna and we see the Spinosaurus kill a trex. Now in season 4 we’re being told that those two tyrannosaurs are parent and offspring which would make perfect sense no? She was very likable and took care of the kids aswell as the dinosaurs. However, I'm getting extremely tired of Darius The Know It All. Not sure if I can endure a 5th season with his "I've got a plan and it might work." 😏 In contrast, Sammy was hands down my favorite character in this season. Guys, could you make a video or a podcast episode to explain what repercussions this season could bring to Dominion, after it gets released on Netflix?

  • @JurassicProductions
    @JurassicProductions 2 ปีที่แล้ว +16

    I’m worried about this season and Dominion. Yes, I’m not TOTALLY upset and do think there will be plenty of neat ideas and parts, but the AI robodogs and the almost James Cameron Avatar like bio domes, I’m just iffy about. Yes, Jurassic Park is a saga where cloning technology had skyrocketed due to InGen setting the bar per se, but most of the tech even seen in World or Fallen Kingdom felt somewhat set in our world still. We have holograms, and maybe with just the tiniest bit of engineering push, we could maybe have the holograms seen in the Innovation Center. There’s a really big possibility your dog itself could a hybrid of multiple different dog breeds because that’s just the norm now. Drones are used in warfare and for a lot worse than just tasing a poor Rex. We even have robodogs in the military.
    BUT, and this is a Kim Kardashian sized but here, when you add in what seems to be AI on the levels of Skynet, with added taser/explosive cannons, it kinda gets into “flying broomstick death machine motorcycle from GTA Online” territory. Why would Mantah Corp even have those things when the drones in the air seem effective enough? Even if they have pterosaurs, something that can look up at better angles in the air like an RC vehicle (a small tank, Elon Musk’s Cybertruck, I dunno) would be better than what seems to be robot dogs that can only shoot in the directions their mouths can point to, which doesn’t seem that effective unless they chase Compies like Dieter Stark.
    What I’m more worried about is whether or not they keep this type of stuff going in Dominion. This is the Endgame of Jurassic, a celebration, the end of a saga going on thirty or so years, wrapping it all up by bringing in the new characters and having them team or go against older characters. I really hope it doesn’t delve too much into what this show sets a precedent of because if so, sure you have the sci-fi aspect of JP, but then there’s a lack of that grounded feeling even JP3, the one film I personally don’t like, had at least some semblance to.
    Even if this is just Jurassic Outpost’s thoughts/review, maybe when I see this on the 3rd, I’ll be seeing it differently. I’m not betting anything on it, though. (Holy God, I’m so sorry for the long comment, guys, lmao. Maybe this should be something to make a video on instead-)
    Edit: Holy shit, it was far worse than I thought. Dreamworks, ya mind giving me what you were smoking? Cause apparently you were using the GOOD stuff to say “you know those infamous human dino hybrids Universal thankfully said no to for Jurassic Park 4? Make them robots.” WHAT-

    I think the biggest disappointment this season was the ending. All 3 previous seasons, while still ending on cliffhangers, wrapped up the conflict of their respective seasons. Season 4 felt like they actually made a 22 episode season, but like other dreamworks animated shows on Netflix (like Voltron and She-Ra) split it up to create the illusion of 2 separate seasons. The timing was awkward and unsatisfying, and once the next season comes out, I get the feeling 4 and 5 together will leave us with that Camp Cretaceous magic, but separately it only hurts itself.

    In regards to the T-Rexes, I interpreted it as the mother and baby from The Lost World, with the baby being fully grown now (and the father T-Rex was apparently not captured, or has passed away). I assumed that the colouring of "Little Eatie" was inherited from her father, hence the colouring of the T-Rexes being similar to that of the Lost World adult T-Rexes. However, I wasn't aware that the green colouring was apparently exclusive to male T-Rexes.

    Okay I hear your thoughts on the robots. However in my opinion the robots really aren’t that far fetched they could recreate dinosaurs in the 1990s. Who knows how far they could have gotten in the 25 years as of robots. Also robots are have been mentioned in Jurassic world by Hoskins right before Owen saves the employee from raptor death.
    Also I feel the story fallowed Jurassic plot closely in my opinion the whole series is about control. The fact that we have none as Ian mentioned in the first movie life finds a way but only in this season it was the people who found a way. The robots were actually fairly interesting as we got to see the clear difference between nature and machine. It felt interesting but I think season five with redeem season four
    I will agree though the Mother daughter rexs are a issue and that was a disappointment. But overall I would say this season was pretty good. They needed to expand and they did I feel like this is a good season focusing more on the characters than the dinosaurs ever so slightly. That isn’t perfect but we shouldn’t judge this season till the next one comes out as they clearly are closely related.

    While I'm not on board with the use of robots, I keep reminded of how this is Mantah Corp, not InGen, not Masrani Global. Seeing how their business is basically pitting the dinosaurs to fight for profit is cruel, I'm now not surprised if they are "out of the line" with the robots. I think the company has always been planned to be that way. The antagonists are written to be hated and if that's the writers' plan, then it works. Now, I'm sure we all want to see how Mantah Corp falls. They have to
    I just hope there will be no more robots in future take of the series and franchise though

    I think it is decent when you consider the tech introduced in JW. If anything it actually improves upon the two more recent films lackluster plots.
    The chips implanted in the dinosaurs could reasonably be construed to interact with the drones to ensure they are shocked and not allowed past the electric grid/fence that they make.
    The brads make sense. The Biomes are cool, but undefined as to how they are to be profitable... but that is room for next season.
    Mother and daughter t-rex is fine who is to say in the years since the Sandiago (sp i guess) incident that they didn't have any other offspring?

All these ultra-Sci-Fi stuff is really what drowns my hopes below the floor. I’m hoping for a more natural and primal vibe for Dominion, similar to what we got in Jurassic Park, but knowing that this season has a lot of things in common with the movie is honestly frightening. What’s certain is that if Dominion ends up being a super cheesy, over the top Sci-Fi show, a lot of fans will be hugely disappointed and this could actually going to cause the worst type of backlash this series has ever received.

    • @markbradshaw7282
      @markbradshaw7282 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Agreed. I realize this is already a series/franchise that contains futuristic technology, but Jurassic Park/World was always at its best when it felt more grounded in some sort of reality. The dinosaurs feel like animals, and the technology is an afterthought. The movies/shows often do a great job of making you FEEL what it would be like if these creatures were actually around in the given context, and that's what separates it from other generic Sci-Fi material. But, whenever you start to go overboard and hit people over the head with unnecessarily unbelievable technology and then anthropomorphize the animals, you lose that connection and it just becomes any other fantasy world.
      I'm not going to judge it too harshly without seeing it, obviously, but all I know is that this is a delicate line they have to walk in order to pull off this idea.

    • @marcoleone393
      @marcoleone393 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@markbradshaw7282 right, the premise for Jurassic Park was and still is considerable as a futuristic technology, but that’s the only, justifiable thing on which the franchise sinks its roots in. Without that concept, nothing in this franchise could’ve existed. But other than that, everything, story wise, has always been very much grounded into reality and the dinosaurs really felt and behaved just like actual real animals do. There was no need in portraying them as good or evil, nor was the need to rely on more futuristic stuff like they’d doing nowadays with these iterations of the franchise. Honestly, I really hope Colin has kept those natural and “scientific”, plausible roots the first movies had, instead of going full on with robots, drones and who knows what else. There’s so much more to explore in between those lines, instead of throwing everything away and choosing to turn everything into a shit show.

The Mosasaur smashed the boat and then didn't eat them so somehow they all washed up safe and didnt drown - and didn't get explained or talked about?? I was left wanting more natural interactions in the latter half, except for the last episode perhaps, so there is potential to bring it back in season 5 to the real JP. Seeing these comments I hope dominion like is what we hope to see and with the technology that like taking from Saturday morning cartoons and sc fi and other stuff like I keep saying I hope we get a season 6 so it can be more expansive and have so much to tell and other stuff like the five deaths revisit sorna but seeing the four for the first time but yea like I still gonna watch season 4 I just hope whatever we see in season 4 like when dominion comes out it doesn’t affect it like I know it canon but I hope they make changes in season 5 and 6 yes I understand taking risks trying new things and not being chased by dinosaurs on island but like if she talking to dinosaurs I want it to be like something that u know that like we see her backstory and reasons why she talks to them like no dinosaurs talking back with a device that everytime they talk it words more like body language or she talks to them cause she lonely or she feels connected with them and spends more time like not making it silly but more like how we talk to our animals in a way that it doesn’t feel silly and feels right I love cartoons animations but a show of all ages and a rating that rated 7 is like a show that a show for both but goes to far to the kids like if we do this the kids won’t be bothered or see it or care whatever like I love kids loving Jurassic franchise like I gotten into it as a kid but like from my experience as a fan and why I love it is like we feel like adults like if we see a person dying like stark or our Sesame Street guy get kill by a compy or raptor it awesome like the Jurassic movies park feels not only realistic but a lot of stories to tell and want to see so many origins and dinos and flying reptiles like buck and Doe and pteranodons and the line by grant of spinosaur not on ingen list what else they up to and just the Science thriller and seeing them seeing sorna abandon lab hearing that tribal music makes u feel like u witnessing and watching not just a franchise about dinosaurs but like a franchise about genetics companies the ones who blind by greed and the ones who bring to life playing god and I fine seeing hybrids but I want to see more dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures like I love Jurassic world but I feel like like I love the creative team of camp cretaceous I talk to some of them but like they should look to clone wars more or other shows that are animated and cartoon but are not a kid show it a truly a show of Star Wars and teen Titans and feel like u can do anything no restrictions and I feel like they might do a rise of skywalker moves I hope not that why they should have season 6 just in case but yea like i feel there some things where there some people like a Dave Filoni and John fau to give fans hope for dominion and make us feel relieve and can’t wait to see it but hopefully season four is good and we see a new of new stuff dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures in the show and ideas and stuff introducing the franchise in Canon in a good way

    i like this show but i got a real beef with the showrunners lack of how science works. especially episode 11 of season 4. where the scientist lady says "that's the whole point of science is to prove things". no scientist worth half their salt would ever say this, because it is a fundimentally false statement. The point of science is to QUESTION things not prove things. science is a method of study not the end results of that study. the scientific method is about posing a question (aka a theory) and then testing that theory by trying to DISPROVE that theory using observation and demostration. if the theory is disproven then it is known as false, if it's not yet disproven then it remains a valid theory but still just a theory. only maths have proofs. science has theories.
    other than this one thing teh show is great , season 4 did loose a little ummphft though by having them switch islands. but i suppose the switch makes sense because if the show continued on Isla Nublar too much longer it'd beg the question where were they during the fallen kingdom movie? some body in the movie would have ran into some of the kids during the volcano eruption had they still been there. so for that reason i can forgive the change of location but still think they could have been on Nublar a bit more. isn't there like a 2-3 year gap between the park's fall and the eruption?

    The only character I liked on this season was Kash, he is such a great villain, a man that's always angry for everything and anything, there for the money and he is really intelligent ( not smart, intelligent ), while I like Mae, she isn't such a great character, all she did was the same "save the dinosaurs" narrative the campers have, she could have done so much more, I enjoyed Kenji and Brooklyn relationship but it got brag for way too much time.

    I enjoyed it for the characters but far too much time is spent on killer robots and hybrid monsters. Aren't dinosaurs enough? It's straying too far from what I find to be the charm of the series. Humans interacting with dinosaurs. Having random monsters and evil robots running around cheapens it. What's next, Kenji developing super powers? Aliens landing?

    • @bunkymartian1652
      @bunkymartian1652 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's what I was hoping for too. It just seems unnecessary, and it could drive a lot of people away. There are six teenagers stuck together, three girls, three boys, and there have been three seasons already for people to formulate opinions. Whatever pairing they chose, a good amount of people will be unhappy
