I totally agree with you. Maybe adding a special rank. Like emerald or smth, and that you can only enter if you have various things to ensure the high level and eliminate the problem of randoms. For example, a challenge is made and if you don't pass it, you cant go to that rank. And a requirement is to have a brawler with more than 1k trophies. And in that way they do give permanent rewards.This way you will only be matched with good ones and you will have greater recognition when you get there. Also to add recognition, they could add a larger animation from the loading screen, like a falling rocket that takes up the entire screen, etc.
The worst thing about ranked with randoms is the matchmaking,what I mean is that there are randoms with 12 power 9s and get over dia the thing is they are usually awful players like jn one round it put me with a 5k guy in my team against an 80k-_- who used lower throphy teammates so he can rank up easier like I'm at 27k my other teammate is 30k and the other random 5k cuz yh awful mode matchmaking again 2 30k s and an 80k how is this even allowed I can't go against a master like this is crazy also if u don't have a team ranking up over diamond 2-mythic 3 is Impossible like the teammates are so awful which makes no sense how they reached this so yh +I would add more ranks to it since ,asters isn't soo hard to get almost every showdown lobby over 800-900 has at least 1 master so yh that's all I wanna say hope they fix this mode.
I think like the point of playing rank is for the skins or maybe the background, but it is too hard to get the skin even tho you got 10 percent of getting it, some unlucky people like me can't get skins (I am already mythic3 no skins😢) but other can get lots of skins, of of mf got 3 skins when he is diamond2. I feel like they should make the reward of getting diamond rank become a guaranteed ranked skin, because some ppl might not be able to get lots of ranked drops since the might not have 12 over lv.9 brawlers and I think they could make the rank boost of diamond of below less since they were so easy to get

The probability of getting them should decrease by about half when you get to legendary and not exist in masters. The matchmaking needs to be way better though. Just yesterday I was having people on my team that were in L2 and I’m top 1500🌎It’s really bad and it ruins the competitive nature of the game
I would like to say that I totally respect your opinion and am not negatively accusing it here in any way but I would have to say that I disagree with a few small things. First, I agree with the modifiers not making the game mode "competitive" but I don't they should remove them completely. To be fair, there really is not much competitiveness in the mythic rank and lower even without the modifiers as this is where most casual players are at. My alternative would be to remove drafting for diamond and mythic ranks as well. Next is to, like one of the comments said, make it possible to tilt from mythic to diamond for example. Here's the catch, they should reduce the points gained in legendary and higher, make it so you cant tilt back to mythic from legendary, reintroduce drafting in legendary and higher, and give cool titles like "is legendary" or "a true master" for reaching their corresponding ranks. A few other small changes would be: getting the ranked skin upon entering legendary rank, changing ranked drops to only be provided when finishing a rank (say after finishing all diamond ranks for example) and boosting the amount of bling received by 5 (you would get 500 bling instead of 100 and 5000 instead of 1000 for getting lucky), not allowing you to switch with a teammate to use an underleveled brawler, getting more points for being the star player (as well as not losing any for losing as the star player), and finally being able to see the top 100,000 ranked positions in the world and the top 1,000 in your country. These changes would hopefully accomplish your goal of keeping a fun casual mode for our bad randoms and also having an exiting fair competitive experience for the more experienced player base without completely changing the mode and its good parts. I hope you find interest in my thoughts or reply with what you think I may have done better. Once more good job on this vid, keep up the good work mate!
Personally,I'm against removal of mods,because they add a new layer of strategy and they make the match more exciting. The biggest problem are the rewards,it takes ages to get a skin.
I want to say something. I am pretty bad at the game, hard-stuck in diamond, so pretty much not that qualified to say anything. But with that out of the way, getting to diamond was wayyyy too easy. afterwards, it has just been a matter of "will tomar753 make a good decision or will he pick el primo on timed detonation?". I can't carry well, and sometimes the other team drafted better. The system certainly has flaws, but I don't know if that is the entire problem, as some people don't even try.
So, as you said make a “non” competitive mode (current ranked) and if you get masters there then you can move into the “competitive” mode in the competitive mode remove modifiers remove rank boost and make the matchmaking fair and actually make sense dont make it like normal ladder where u are at 850 40k and u get 70k enemies and randoms with dementia make it actually fair and remove the inflation like where in ranked if u are diamond and u play with master u get a bagillion elo remove that. If you’re high elo and bad profile make the enemies harder and when you have a lot of trophies or a good profile in general no you shouldn’t get easier enemies just cuz there aren’t enough players that u can play against. Remove ranked ★ drops from the competitive mode and make the perm rewards and also make the “reward” in competitive mode easier to get by rng (if they would add rng to the competitive mode) cuz you’re working harder to get the rank in competitive mode
I was actually thinking about it a lot I think draft should start at mythic instead of diamond for ppl like me that wanna speedrun i get masters on 4 accounts every season so draft is annoying and past masters it should split to competitive and easy you would need more maxed brawlers to be in competitive and there won’t be mods and easy will just be how it is now

Permanently banning people reported for bad play in ranked wouldn’t work because sometimes a person is clearly the bad random and still reports a good player because he thinks this player was very bad. Worse then that, there are people who just report people even though this person knows the other player went well. I think that that supercell should maybe make some tests with people that are reported 5 times on a season or more and if they don’t pass, they are banned for that season or maybe drop some ranks
Easy fix is to nerf ranked boost. Players below diamond 1 should reset to bronze. Players above diamond 1 reset to diamond 1. They should also make it so you can drop to the previous rank. A full team exactly at ranked checkpoint( diamond 1, mythic 1,legendary 1,masters)constantly losing can inflate ranks very easily

They should make it so that every season in ranked your reputation bar fully resets that should make it way better

I think for competitve players they can just push elo higher than masters and they can pair 9k-9.5k elo and 9.5k-10k elo etc
