I guess it depends on the map, for large maps I guess Challenger 2E is the best unless you feel like chilling out and sniping which the Challenger 3 is by far better, for cqc maps Challenger 3 is also better but the 2E is great as well, it's also time Gaijin fixes the ready rack for Challengers, it's too damn short and makes no sense.
I just find the responsiveness of the transmission on the 2E to help it more than the firepower advantage. The L55 is amazing, and so is DM53. But because of the speed limitations, I find that you rarely catch the enemy out of position. As an example, in the second battle, my first three kills were handed to me because I had caught them before getting to the hull down positions.
It definitely is sad that this is Britain's only real option for top-tier speed-oriented MBTs other than the Challenger 3 - everything else that's quick and has some vague sense of armour like the Vickers Mark 7, TTD, or the Indian T-90S isn't up to dealing with 11.0+ opponents. A good tank - by British tree standards anyway - that unfortunately only has slower stablemates and one generally-comparable successor vehicle generally speaks to British MBT design philosophies considering speed as a less important trait, I suppose. Of course your skills can make it work very well Wogby, but like the title says, there's always a sense if you had been in another nation's tanks, you might have just gotten a bit more in the way of results for the work you put into playing.
Maybe the title was worded a bit too pessimistic. I was trying to say, "I can't get enough Chally 2", not that the vehicles are that miserable lol. I've just been on a British binge lately.

It's a copy of the TES which is the worst mbt in the entire game, so I would say no. Just buy the DS or talisman the first Challenger 2.
