Winter Storm Riley - Higgins Beach March 3 & 4, 2018
The best storm photos are taken from a safe distance from the water...be safe!! Its no fun loosing a phone or camera to the surf or slipping when you get caught in water surging over the road.
These were possibly the largest waves we've seen at Higgins Beach. While the entire Maine coast got pummeled by the Nor'easter, Higgins lost dune and habitat but homes appeared to fare well. Surfers didn't attempt Higgins on the 3rd, but a couple went out on the 4th.

Sir Justonian either way, better than anything I’ve seen in Texas in a long time if ever. Lol. Search the Drone footage for Delray, beach Florida. They caught it sick. Or Boca inlet Florida.

Higgins normally has about 10-20 feet of sand exposed at high tide, and hundreds of yards at low tide. The swing from high to low is as much as 12 feet here
