Thanks for the compliment! Trying to keep the English at the level of the food!

Just like a classic boiled dinner from England or the Canadian maritime provinces. Great to see you posting regularly Pete 💪🤌✊

My aunt was French, her pot su feu was amazing. She used the jus from her previous pot au feu dishes, so the dish was a continuation. Cooked in a coqote.

I have had this dish only once in France 41 years ago. Cooked by my girlfriends mother. What a hearty meal it was too, no sauce but plenty broth and mustard. the next day, Soupe à l'Oignon Gratinée for lunch and a salad bread and wine very happy memories.

Amazing video. I just bought a stand for my dutch oven and I'll try this in my fireplace next weekend.

my god Pete, this is amazing! I cannot understand how you don't have more views and subscribers, youtube should hang their heads in shame for not suggesting your channel more.
I trained in posh French restaurants here in the UK but have never enjoyed Pot au Feu, I'm well aware of it and must try it some day.
Wishing you a healthy and prosperous 2023

Excellent recipe and great job demystifying this quintessential French dish.
I know braised meat is tender with great flavor, and sometimes even better than expensive steak.
It’s also cool that you get a light sophisticated appetizer of quality beef broth with this this too.
    Thanks!

I just noticed you traveled to the places you're making food 😍. By the way, that Chopin piece is my favorite of all his pieces.

I was hoping you’d do this one at some point (or a poule au pot). Perfect for a bleak January sunday. HNY to you.

Oh, Pete...how lovely to have another video from you, and this one is beautifully done as usual, but is exceptional. Lighting, fire, everything and perfect lighting, dog et al. Particularily perfect timeing is this recipe. I've never done it but wanted to surprise my husband with it in January. He's often reminisced about it. So, thank you! Wishing you all good things for the new year, a huge surge of new subscibers and a cosy new year's eve (or a loud and fun one, whichever works for you!).

I watched to prepare for The French Film Festival 'A Taste of Things.' I am so inspired; thank you. If only all recipes could be narrated and executed so beautifully. I feel like I have already been to the Cinema. I will make this to embrace the whole experience and my upcoming stay in France fully ❤ I look forward to viewing other recipes of yours.
