Beautifully done Heather ❤ I can honestly say I love your videos as you are so meticulous in the wash process and your editing is first class😇, I especially love the sounds you incorporate and like the fact you edit out the noise of the pressure washer❤❤❤
Cheers Simon! The audio editing takes forever haha. TH-cam has been weird recently though and boosted the audio of certain parts where it sounds quieter so it’s been tricky to try and balance it!
Nice job Ms. Heather. You have mastered the detailing craft! I personally do not like black wheels on a vehicle, but that's just my personal preference. It seems that there has been a paradigm shift as of late with more and more manufacturers making gloss, satin, and matte black wheels as their wheel of choice on many makes and models. I still think that clear coated silver is the best. Black is just to sensitive a finish on a rim in my opinion. That VW was poppin' after that application of Can Coat EVO. I am still old school and I wax my vehicles (LOL!). I've been detailing for over 45 years back before all these thousands of detailing products were available. I am still a fan of Collinite waxes due to their extreme durability. And waxes just give a vehicle a type of gloss and depth that many other products just can't match.
Heath I picked up a hand held battery operated foamer by the company called: SPTA. It works fantastic! and it’s a 64oz container. The ik has taken waaaaay too long to release theirs. Also it is stated to be priced approximately $119.00 dollars. Just saying look into SPTA and save some dough👀🍻

Another excellent result on my favourite colour of car. All four of our cars are red now that the Mazda 3 arrived on our driveway on Saturday and it does look good. Although it is fairly clean obviously I will be giving it a going over tomorrow, It would have been today but my neighbor asked if I would do his this morning. I put AutoBrite, Magiseal on it as a bit of protection and it really came up hydrophobic and glossy I am beginning to wonder why I stopped using it but I felt I think it's durability was not as long as I hoped for. I have been using Gyeon Wax topped with Gyeon Cure to good effect and I am loving Gyeon Preserve on external trim and wheel arches. I was going to order all the Yum products to try them out but I blew the budget on the car so I guess I will have to wait for Xmas and I might get lucky.
Cheers John 😊 can’t beat a red car! I’m still yet to try Magiseal but hear a lot of people talking about it. Gyeon Wax looks very cool as well. From what I remember Yum Cars usually do a pretty big Black Friday sale so could be worth keeping an eye out for if you can’t wait until Xmas haha
Looks like brand new Heather!! I applied the can coat on two of my cars after your video the other month and have to say that the results are great :) Cheers Graham
Hi Heather car has got protection i tried autoglym polor seal to top up paint first time I've used it and it's left a good finish quick and easy to apply
Can Coat is a pretty good product. I have gloss black wheels that had a Gyeon Professional Coating when new, I avoid harsh chemicals but it is nearly impossible to keep them scratch free.
Hi Heather! I really enjoyed today’s video. They’re always a pleasure to watch. Thank you for the tip on what to use on the tires. I recently bought a car with very similar rims and was wondering what to use to make the tires shine more. ❤
Thanks for watching! Yeah this dressing works really well against gloss black wheels. CarPro Darkside is another one that I've used recently that works very nicely too
Hi Heather, class job as usual, gyeon wet coat and bh auto wheel have got to be some of the best products on the market . In my opinion anyway . The car looked lovely hope the customer was happy . X
That CanCoat did a great job on the plastic trim. Guessing it’ll keep that for as long as it does on the paintwork? If so, it’s a much better long term solution than the usual plastic trim treatments which only last a few months. Nice turnaround again. 👍🏾
Thanks Barry! Yeah it should work well as a long-term solution. The only time I'd say it would be better to use a trim restorer instead (like Gtechniq C4) would be if the trim was already a bit faded, but with this being a newer car CanCoat was perfect
Thank you! The owner of this one does like to look after it to be fair but I think it had been a little while since the last wash here, hopefully with the protection added it should be easier to maintain!
Super Nice work as always! You are truly professional. If I could. I would love to leave my car in your able hands. Keep up the good work! Regards from Sweden 😊
Great work again Heather 👍👍 After watching your last video I bought a Wheel Weasel.Had to try it,worked alright 👍👍 Got a question for you…what dilution ratio would you use if using GT car shampoo in a snow foam lance?
Hi Heather, great video as always, more products added to my long list to buy. I've an unrelated question if you don't mind me asking for your expertise on. I'm looking at buying a steam cleaner for interior cleaning and most seem to recommend that I use distilled water. In your experience is this needed or just a precaution. And what do you use on yours (if you use one)
Thanks for watching! I just use tap water in mine but my water is fairly soft so hasn't caused me any issues. With my Karcher SC3 there's a descaler cartridge that needs replacing every so often (think it's something like 75 hours of use on average) and costs about a tenner. It's usually time to change the cartridge when the machine is struggling to produce as much steam. I think though with most other steamers you can use descaler solutions periodically to keep them performing well
Have tried doing a pre wash then coat the car in shampoo via a lance, work over with various mitts Saves lots of water compared to the 2bm and safer if you pressure wash the mitts clean as you work around the vehicle. Ps.car looks great
Thanks! Yeah I usually do that method on my car but when I'm filming it's quite tricky as the foam slips of the car when I'm moving the camera about so it ends up taking longer. I am using that method though on the next video :)
Thank you! It honestly depends on the exact products. Some APC's are caustic so can potentially cause more issues like staining chrome trim. But this can also be the case with some citrus products too. For a product to really go into the "citrus" category it will have D-limonene in it which is a good cleaner, but most manufacturers will also use other detergents which you can find in an APC as well
Hi Heather enjoyed the video, I think it may be the time of year and the way the daylight works but don't you agree a freshly detailed car looks wayyyy better in Autumn/Winter than it does in summer? Just looks glossier somehow.
Hi Heather, once you've mixed the solution in your sprayer do you a) make sure you use it all, b) pour an excess into a separate container to store for future use, c) pour any excess away, or d) have a separate sprayer for each product?
I usually use most of it but if not I’ll just leave it for the next wash, i should probs empty the IK sprayers tbf but I just depressurise them and stick them back in the cabinet 😂
Great video, just wondering what degree nozel you are using on your stubby gun. Looking to get a stubby gun for myself and still unsure what to go for. For context i just clean personal cars, nothing crazy.
I use a 25 degree one for pretty much everything. Here's a link to a video I made on the second channel with a bit more info: th-cam.com/video/PQ5kCIvWqMI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=I3JzQPJHbza4exrp
Hi Heather. I deep cleaned a friend’s three-year-old VW Polo today and noticed what I can only describe as oily type streaks that would not shift to buffing etc. I sensed the marks were possibly the results of bird poo that has penetrated through the clear coat or maybe due to some other contaminant. The bodywork was otherwise in a lovely condition but the marks were obvious from certain angles and nothing I tried would remove them. I’m fair confident that the marks were not external as they stubbornly remained. It’s the first time I’ve cleaned this particular car - it was fairly grubby when it arrived and I used my usual snow foam, contact wash method and applied Autoglym Magma before applying Autoglym polar seal. Any suggestions as to what the marks were and any remedies to shift them would be appreciated. I’m stumped.
@@AutoCareHQHi Heather. Thanks for your reply. No I didn’t machine polish. After washing off the Autoglym Polar Seal, I towel dried the bodywork and used an air dryer as usual. The marks (spots and lines) had the sheen of petrol/oil but clearly weren’t. It did look like potential chemical marking but I don’t know the car’s previous cleaning history. I’m a bit of a perfectionist but the marks were obvious albeit isolated within otherwise very nice paintwork.
Thanks for the interesting video. I have a question. I have had Gyeon Can Coat varnish applied to my car. I live in the mountains with a high level of humidity. In summer, my car is covered with moisture every night. And in the morning, the water dries on the bonnet and roof of the car under the scorching sun. This happens every day. There are a lot of scale stains on the car. Acid shampoo doesn't help, even though I wash the car once a week. I would like to coat the car with ceramic and then apply wax or wax silant to get maximum protection against limescale stains. Perhaps there is another option for protection. I would be grateful if you could advise me on the best solution.
Thanks for watching. Potentially adding a ceramic sealant over the top could act as a sacrificial layer to help to shed the contamination that the car is collecting without it clogging the ceramic coating itself but it does seem like a tricky situation. You're probably best sticking with the Gyeon range so it's worth looking at products like Ceramic Detailer, WetCoat or even their Q2Wax which they say can be used over ceramic coatings
Hey Heather! Do you have any tips/videos on how to remove swirls from the gloss black plastic window pillars? Preferably by hand instead of machine if possible. They’re such a pain! Thanks a lot.
Thanks for watching 😊 I’d go with an all in one polish on a soft foam pad, something like Stjarnagloss Skara is brilliant. Just try and use very light pressure to finish and then a very soft microfibre towel for the removal. Also working in straight lines is usually best with a hand polish
I know exactly what you mean. I've seen loads of manufacturers putting shiny plastic trim all around the wheels/ lower sections now and it makes me cringe knowing how swirled it'll get haha
You make it look easy, but it is not! Saturday was a big detail for me, and I was beaten. Have you ever gotten staining on black trim from iron removers? How long does your detailing brushes last? I have a Work Stuff 24mm boars bristle that looks bad. Use for lug nuts. Only year old. All "mushroomed" out. Ok Heather, thank you for the video. Excellent work.
Thanks for watching! I’ve not had that personally, the solvents in tar removers I have to be careful with though. Hmm I’d say at least a couple of years for the more expensive ones. Some of the cheaper ones I’ve used though have only lasted about 6 months
Did the vehicle not need a paint correction? Or was the paint in good condition? Just wondering as I've always had to paint correction before but then I've never had a newer vehicle wanting a coating yet
The paintwork was pretty good here, the owner was more bothered about the protection. I only apply longer term coatings though after a paint correction/ enhancement
@AutoCareHQ sorry please don't think I'm judging I'm new to the world of detailing and recently corrected and coated with 3yr coating an M6 convertible with a 12 month roof protection what would you have charged for that job as I think my prices are pretty low took me 13 hours thanks was going to post the video but got half way through and realised my Microphine was not connected so gave up recording school boy error
Here's a link to the ceramic coating page website, it's got loads of info on my prices/ options autocarehq.com/ceramic-coating-cheshire/ That's so gutting about the microphone, so annoying when stuff like that happens!
@@AutoCareHQ yeh it was, I will just have to edit and voice over I have pictures of afterwards but no video of me coating the car I used gyeon mohs Evo never used it before and it really was the easiest coating I've ever applied 10 second flatten and buff took about 30 minutes to coat the entire care. Anyway thanks for replying and keep up the good work
Hi Heather, can I put a ceramic detailing spray on a waxed car. I've got some TW ceramic 3-1 detailer spray so would that be ok to use on wax. I'm just getting into detailing so my knowledge about it is very minimal at the mo.
It should be fine but I would always recommend just testing a small spot first. Occasionally some products don't play well together and can go a bit streaky but it is usually fine
Hey Heather, have you used Yum wheels and Yum Citrus? Ive watched the Yumcars channel and the citrus seems like a solid cleaner on wheels as a pre rinse. Thx
@@AutoCareHQthanks. Theyre supposed to be coming to Australia. So I'm keen to try. You seem to use a lot of different products. Dont you have favourites?
@@rooboy99 that'd be great if you could get them in Australia. I get sent a decent amount of products to test out tbf so I end up using different stuff on most videos. I do definitely have favourites though, I'm gonna be doing a video at the end of the year summing them all up
@@AutoCareHQlook forward to your thoughts at the end of the year. Always keen to try different products. The problem is, i buy new stuff before i run out of the other. So I end up with multiple bottles of similar products
Great work. Can you fly to Australia and organise my towels and applicators? Can Coat evo is great bang for buck. Applied to wifes car over 2 years ago and its still beading
Thanks. Haha sure thing the weather is awful here now 😂 That’s really impressive, it’s a cool product, definitely been happy with the performance so far
My only criticism is when the car is clean you don’t video enough to show how hard you have worked when finished .. also maybe a few before and after shots too
I love auto-wheel, but cant stand the smell anymore. Last time i used it a gust of wind blew it back over me and my cloths. I wish there was a wheel cleaner that was as good but had no scent.
Yep unless it’s below freezing and I can’t turn the tap on haha. I’ve got some waterproof gloves which help massively. The process though is the same except I use a lot of spray and rinse sealants when the temps are cold as they don’t need to cure and are much quicker to apply
Thanks for watching :) Nope I didn't clay and polish this car. Gyeon Can Coat doesn't strictly need it but if there are defects to remove/ the paint feels rough then it will definitely benefit from those steps. This took about 4 hours not including filming

What product did you put on the wheels once clean? they look amazing.
It was Gyeon Wet Coat 😊
@ oh wow. Thank you so much. I’ve got black gloss wheels and this looks like the perfect finish. Take Care.
You’ve just embarrassed me about the untidy state of my microfibre and polishing pad drawers !
Haha get it sorted 😂
Hey Heather! Do you have any tips/videos on how to remove swirls from the gloss black plastic window pillars? Preferably by hand instead of machine if possible. They’re such a pain! Thanks a lot.
Thanks for watching 😊
I’d go with an all in one polish on a soft foam pad, something like Stjarnagloss Skara is brilliant. Just try and use very light pressure to finish and then a very soft microfibre towel for the removal. Also working in straight lines is usually best with a hand polish
Legend, thanks a lot - I’ll give it a go! ☺️. All you have to do is look at those things the wrong way and they will punish you with scratches 😅.
I know exactly what you mean. I've seen loads of manufacturers putting shiny plastic trim all around the wheels/ lower sections now and it makes me cringe knowing how swirled it'll get haha
@@AutoCareHQ Wow the wheels, it's bad enough on the windows! 🫣
Do you usually include headlights as well when ceramic coating the vehicle?
Yep they benefit from it too
You make it look easy, but it is not!
Here's a link to the ceramic coating page website, it's got loads of info on my prices/ options autocarehq.com/ceramic-coating-cheshire/
That's so gutting about the microphone, so annoying when stuff like that happens!
Anyway thanks for replying and keep up the good work
🎉looks great 👍👍😊
Thank you!
Occasionally some products don't play well together and can go a bit streaky but it is usually fine
thanks for that Heather
👍
Can you recommend an in line di resin filter to purify water before spraying on final rinse?
I don't use one, I just use the DI tank on the other video you commented on
@@AutoCareHQ thank you. Great videos by the way.
@@lisadeathe8479 thank you!
Hey Heather, have you used Yum wheels and Yum Citrus? Ive watched the Yumcars channel and the citrus seems like a solid cleaner on wheels as a pre rinse. Thx
Hey, yep I've used both of those quite a bit, really good products
Nice 🤩
Super video ❤❤🌹
Thanks!
Great video in need of new shampoo and auto culture has 15%off site wide at moment
Thanks! The shampoo is really good, very nice in a lance as well
That's good to know I like to use a lance for shampoo, as always great advice
No probs, try it at a 1:9 ratio first. You might not even need that much depending on your foam cannon
@@AutoCareHQ25c here in Melbourne today 😊 I'll leave the garage open for you
This must take all day?
This was 6 hours ish but filming always adds a couple of hours
@ well done cracking job 👍
Thanks!
@@AutoCareHQits excellent what you do . Thank you
My only criticism is when the car is clean you don’t video enough to show how hard you have worked when finished .. also maybe a few before and after shots too
👍👍👍
I love auto-wheel, but cant stand the smell anymore. Last time i used it a gust of wind blew it back over me and my cloths. I wish there was a wheel cleaner that was as good but had no scent.
Yeah it smells awful unfortunately!
Plz mam which editing app and camera
I use a Canon 60D and Davinci Resolve for editing
@AutoCareHQ thq so much
❤️👏👌
Do you still wash cars in the winter...how do you deal with the cold? 🤣
Yep unless it’s below freezing and I can’t turn the tap on haha. I’ve got some waterproof gloves which help massively. The process though is the same except I use a lot of spray and rinse sealants when the temps are cold as they don’t need to cure and are much quicker to apply
@@AutoCareHQ which spray and rinse sealant would you recommend for someone just starting out with a detailing business?
Gyeon Wet Coat is a great one
@@AutoCareHQ Are those the Dexshell gloves? I bought some the other day on your recommendation and they worked perfectly.
Yep they’re the ones! Really handy to have
Had my vehicle given a DEEPER CLEAN in and out. Was pleased with the outcome, just a pity I had to pay London prices 😢😢
Get yourself the equipment and you’ll never look back. I invested in the tools needed and I haven’t had anyone touch or detail my cars in 2+ years.
@ thank you Chris for your advice. Probably will invest in some decent products, spend the time doing it without the extra costs !
Thats alot of product usage. Looks good for the video though
🤌
Is this ASMR?
I guess a bit for the parts without commentary
Hi, did you use a claybar and machine polish on the car? How long dit you take on this car? I really like your video's and explaining. Thank you!
Thanks for watching :) Nope I didn't clay and polish this car. Gyeon Can Coat doesn't strictly need it but if there are defects to remove/ the paint feels rough then it will definitely benefit from those steps. This took about 4 hours not including filming
