    Energy Signal is a signal that has energy only in finite time not over all time .and as we know the power of a signal is the rate of its energy over the time .. that is the (energy/time).. So, in the energy signal (power = (finite)energy /(infinite)time [over all time]) that equals to ZERO
    Power Signal is a signal that has a finite power (not equals to ZERO) .. and as we say above that the (power = energy/(infinite)time [over all time]) .So, the energy is very very big that tends to Infinity
    This is example of energy signal (unit sample signal) .. Because it has energy only in period of time So its power is ZERO
    This is example of power signal (unit step signal) .. Because it has infinite energy So its power is finite

      Because if we multiply the power with the time,we get energy.as for the power signal time tends to infinity,energy is always infinite...

      If we divide the energy by time,we get power... As for the energy signal,time tends to infinity,power is always zero...

      If power equal zero it's an energy signal
      If power is non zero then it's a power signal
      Both cases the energy is infinite because n is infinite.

    i dont understand every one just goes on reading the formulas as it is... cant we read in textbook? ... noone is taking care of subject oriented classes or explanations.... pity on us.... what is there so special in ur video if everything is same as in textbooks..... teaching profession has so many ethics follow it... its eternal..... teaching a topic means teaching the internal beauties of the concept explaining what it is.... not saying the formulas.... everyone knows it...

      see as much as i agree with you on teaching the essence of the concept, they are doing this as a business strategy for college students to take up their coaching or whatever. This is meant for college students a day before the exam and maybe for gmat preparation, for which they don't have time. All indian coaching and tutoring will be like this. If you want to learn the beauty of the topic and the actual essence of mathematics like this, watch a channel called 3blue1brown, or watch better videos. This is just meant to pass the exam tomorrow
