my question is, when writing a goal ,how do you quantify grading ? Some PTs will write " Increase strength by 1/2 , 1/3 or 1/4 of a grade ,which is correct ?
Nice explanation sir😇 Only a doubt comes in my mind that how can we explain the minimal and maximal resistance which we have to applied on the patient. As every therapist have their individual amount of resistance. Is there any quantitative measure or is it totally depends on individual therapist ?
Hi, that’s a valid and common question everyone gets. To determine minimal and maximal resistance first we always check for MMT on unaffected side to measure patients strength , on base of which we apply minimum or maximal resistance on the affected side. And if both the sides are affected we measure the strength on the same age , height and weight person to get idea about minimum or maximum strength. Hope this solves your doubt.
@@Physiotrendz2990 Okay sir. Or can it be like that we use 2 fingers for mininal and whole hand for maximal..? Or we have to use hand in all. But, thank you so much sir for above explanation. It solve my doubt to the max. 😇🙏🏻

That you determine while assessing patient. And decide functional goals for the treatment.
