@@robertgapatas sorry for the correction and thanks for the music list
My parents bought this one for me when I was 5 or 6 and I remember fooling around with it and trying all the combinations, but as I lacked the musical training, nothing as cool as those tunes of yours came from the speakers of my keyboard. I wish I still had it.
This was my childhood synthesizer, hearing this again, played like this really blew my mind. Well done mate.
Hey, my name is Thomas Grant. I am totally blind and also a great keyboard player along with many other instruments including bagpipes now. I do like the old Casio vintage keyboards, particularly the SA Series and the VL-Tone. My friend Sarah Knowles is going to give me an SA-5 in April. My favourite piece there was that laser sound with the drum pads. When I was young, I had one of these and I thought it was saying bur, burbur burbur burbur burbur! My favourite tone on the SA-5 is the Waw Voice set on tone edit 4 as it goes completely insane!
Probably Braille keyboard and text-to-speech.
Omfg! Old memories.. That satisfying number sound.
Tschk Tschk!

I still have this piece ❤️ works like a charm 💯
Damnnn! I had this when I was 5-6 years old, and I just remembered about this thing and understood how big was the influence of it on my music future🙈
The first ever keyboard that I bought with my own money when I was like 10! Memories… thank you…
I had this keyboard way back. It is awesome.
Wahh .. nostalgia factory 💓
one time i made such a beautiful melody on my sa-67, it almost put me in a trance :)
forgot how it went the next day...
The settings @ 1:00 / 2:03 are incredible. It is sort of hard to believe its just a toy! Beautiful little circuit. Love Casio!
I have it since 1994 !!😇 and i will keep it until the end of the history. Hahaha
I have a Realistic Concertmate 460 that looks exactly like this right down to the buttons. I still have it from Christmas of 1993. I think it was a Casio equivalent made by Radio Shack.
I love this Keyboard! Thank you for your wonderful performances.
nice
my first key before 22 years.
Those were the times.
My first song i ever learned was legend of zelda theme. if interested check my channel and reccomend me other songs! :D
Sirus is casio 21 still available in Indian market?
I want this key board
@@abinavvinayak3758 It's called the SA-41 in India. It was available 13 years ago. Newer ones are available now.
@@abinavvinayak3758 I have a used one in full working condition, if you wanna buy . I'm from India
A love of mini Casio
Brings back so many good memories thank you! I don’t remember it supported chords though, that’s pretty neat.
Amazing
4:10 is in fact the same instrument used at the beginning of Sicko Mode!
Yea lol
Somehow i bought one of these new old stock and it has been a favorite instrument of mine i play alot I actually hold it more like a guitar
Awesome JayB Great work
All synth sounds are produced on CZs, and Casio put all them on SAs and CTs :))))
Your 100% correct there, these Casio SA and CT keyboards are also cheaper than a Casio CZ synth which can
be quite expensive. I'm not sure what the piano sample is supposed to be based on weather it's based on a Roland
or Emu sample. I would sooner stick with my Casio CT-700 than buy a CZ-230S as the CZ-230S doesn't even have
on board editing which I think is a joke. I wouldn't pay no more than £200 for a Casio CZ synth especially as 20 years
ago using a CZ-101 in modern music production was deemed by most people as unacceptable yet 20 years later
people are saying the opposite ( talk about confusing! ). Back in the 90s I used these consumer Yamaha and Casio
keyboards in music production with a 4 track cassette recorder because at the time it was the cheapest way of
producing music at home. I tend to buy Yamaha Porta Sound and Casio MT/CT/SA keyboards because they are
a cheap way of producing lofi music.
Amazing!!!! I have a casio SA-21. my grandfather gave me to me in my 8th birthday. actualy I have the keyboard save in her original case. And after to see this, I say... can I do that with the SA-21!!!? Lol!!
Now... how learn to play the piano?, you make to see so easy. :D
Nice to see you working on turning my Casio VL tone into an Oberheim. Looks good so far.
Thank you, recalled youth. Thanks for the video from Russia
I used to have this keyboard. The sound effects are nostalgic...
im looking at buying one of these and from just watching this video i am very impressed
i remember many of those patches from the ca-100 i used back in the day.
My childhood friend 😚😚😚
oooohhhh my :)
I had a casio SA2o - with the same sounds (except no drum pads) ages before ... it was the first synth my granma bought me in 1991 (!) ( I was 16) ... i remember many of the sounds .... so thanks for your vid i enjoyed very well!!!! :)
Wow it sounded so good, this mini keyboard does a lot compared to low budget fullsize keyboard
I had this one! It's my favorite along with the MT 45.
I had this piano! ❤️
Golden 90 years
This man could make a Bontempi reed organ. Rubbish squeak box sound good. Love it.
Yeah man wicked 😊❤️😎👍
Just inserted batteries in my 15 year old Casio. Still works like a charm
That's part of my childhood.
This was..amazing!
Omg now I want one. I already have the SA 35 though 😭 but I also want this onee
the first tune was magical
Lol me so Hanni. Thank you for that chuckle :)
SA-21 IT IS LIT🔥
Are all these sounds coming from the Casio - SA21??? they sound really good!
Loved the beat around 0:37 :-)
This reminds me of my CT-636, only smaller.
Hey I know this is an old video, but you demo'd some great sounds from this little SA-21. Do you know much about the SA-35? The SA-35 and SA-5 share the same sounds but different casing and the 35 has 4 note polypony, like your SA-21 I'd say. Sounds are arranged in 5 groups of 5 types, but the 'tone edit' button changes the enevelops and the sounds quite a lot - four variations per sound. So it's 100 different sounds total, like your SA-21. I want to get something in the SA series but I'm leaning more towards the SA-35, although the split sounds yours has are pretty great. I already have GZ-5, Vl-1, SK-1, PT-30, so I definitely don't need anymore than 1 more mini Casio. Thanks :)
To be honest aside from the SA-21 I never dived deeper into the Casio keyboards, even though just from playing them briefly the later models like the 76 sound half decent, even if probably using old licensed Yamaha samples.
Fair enough, they are little toys after all :)
I like the organ sound. How much does that cost to buy it? Sounds like you have fun with your keyboard. where can I get that?
40 seconds was awesome
A nice repertoire of songs to demo with.
What a nice synth! :D
Merci sa remet les choses à leurs places. :)
Cordialement
ps just see that its your own writing at 1:00, lovely stuff man, really stood out over everything.
this was my first ever keyboard... unfortunately i dumped it in a trash can... only now i see what it was capable of.... that was beautiful... now i feel lyk getting it bak... :(
I liked this piano
I had one of these as a kid in the 80's still have it. Can't find the adapter though and the battery compartment is effed
AAwesome
Rad!
i have now brought one for $20.... we so excited..
Moi qui croyais que c'était pas valable (à l'exception d'une quinzaine de sons). Ce mec a complètement changé ma vision sur le Casio-SA!!!

nice playing :) got a white sa21 myself :)
Cant believe you did that (3:40) on a SA21
Этот синтезатор настальгия юности((
nice playing! for a tablehooter, this sounds really nice. i'm ebaying one now :-)
wow baby
cool
Hello JayB. How many notes can you play simoultaneously with this keyboard? Thanks.
Jose Aguilera 5.
That keyboard could only play four (4) notes simultaneousley. I know this cause mine ended up buried in the closet cause it sucked. I went on to electric bass guitar. This video sucks.
@@ottobot81 your comments sucks.
douche @@ottobot81
Those laser beam sounds 😂😂
Nice, My hands are too big for that size. The bass is accentuated well, but since the speakers are on the side it may be reading that bass alright ? Cool, I wanted to get a very simple style keyboard like this one at one point, don't know if I'll ever.
2:31 is karenai hana, unwithering flower ost of full metal panic animation
a.k.a. Robert Miles - Children. But yes, there's a certain similarity.
Sos un kapooooo!
How did you connect it to the computer? Please tell me everything, how you did it, what you used etc. Thanks.
Used by Midlake!
Even if that question is not to me... I got mine at my fourth birthday - that was 1992. ;)
Is it possible to connect it to PC ?
its funny that u played jump, because i just recorded a video featuring that song! video response! axe special!
i have one of these and i loved it!!! but it's broke and doesn't work now and i dont know what the fault is.

Wow... I was 11 and my Birthday present was a Casio SA1. This Video is uploaded on the 11.04.2011. My Birthday is the 11.04.1985 .... ^^ Crazy O-o. And I am a musican too. On thing: there is a sample pack from the SA1 existing in web anywhere..
It's freely after Cascada - Everytime We Touch
👌
dios oh my good
Can you record to all 5 demo songs for Mp3 ? I am very like it !
I can.
WAW
I have that too. It’s my fathers.
Four actually. However, a rhythm is handled as one voice.
@PilotCube I was wondering if this question is serious... Well, the keyboard has a headphone jack. Guess what it's good for if you're not connecting headphones. ;)
There's no way those sounds are coming from...that!
You must have fiddled with the sound somehow.
no
I have a Ca 110 which has almost identical sounds and these are factory presets
the Ca110 Is better though because it has full sized keys
no... thats the original sound... I have one...
Arief Prasetyo Confirm!! Got one too. STILL!!!
There is clearly a delay effect added but otherwise those are the original sounds.
Pfff :,) melancoly
Well played, I know those keys are slippy like no tomorrow :)
that first beat... you needa make it longer, please.
I have the same!!
Hey Jay, if you see this could you tell me the number of the setting at 1:00? Thanks :)
4:41 Tá parecendo a Intro do Entre Nós Outra Vez ao vivo do Sérgio Lopes ou Queria de Ozéias de Paula
first song?
2:50 Japão, a terra do Sol Nascente
also what was the beat at 4:26?
I'm impress, ur keyboard is miniature and u can play all that with that little thing?? OMG
lo hicieron midi? el mio no suena asi...
It doesn't have MIDI. Though I've seen mods to make it midi capable.
Of whon is the song in the minute 155 T_T vwry nice .. i always listened to her on the radio (_:
icela creyo Van Halen - Jump
I have this piano same like this thats why i search casio sa-21
You should totally use this in a full song if you still have it ;3
Dane Hansen I still have it and I already used it in a song. Search for my cover of "Dream of You".
