Gonna try my best not to be rude or condescending, but that very likely means you haven’t created any directories/folders within the Documents directory. To do so from the macOS GUI: Open Finder Click Documents Right click (or the equivalent button on a Magic Mouse) in Documents Click “New” Click “Folder” Name your folder and tap the “Enter/Return” key. To do so in the CLI (command line interface) Open the Terminal If you’re already in the Home (~) directory, type “cd Documents/“ then press “Enter/Return” If you’re in any other Directory, type “cd ~/Documents/“ then press “Enter/Return” Type mkdir (stands for make directory) If the directory you’re in requires admin/root privileges, you may have to type “sudo” before “mkdir” and then your Mac’s password to proceed After you type either “sudo mkdir” or just “mkdir,” don’t press “Enter/Return” just yet, type the name of your folder/directory and then press Enter/Return. Much like in Windows, the easiest way is to do it via the GUI, but sometimes you may have to create sub directories within a root or admin directory that requires the password and it’s way easier to do that via the Terminal/CLI.
Brother, I also have a m3 and in my case I directly started coding by adding vs extension and by a single code it starts heating, if it happens with you also please tell

I’m stuck on 5:48 when I enter cd documents and the next command 1s doesn’t work
I’m stuck on 5:48 when I enter cd documents and the next command 1s doesn’t work
it's supposed to be ls not 1s
you accidentally are typing the number 1 then s, it should be the letter l then s. So this should be the command:
ls
