A love your videos, so high quality. Keep up!
You are one of the best tech creators on this platform ❤❤
bro, you are doing so good! I really want to see a video about your *full* settings at vs code 👨💻. Very useful
great vid 🔥
Actual useful video
Great video man, thanks for sharing the dock animation cmd and deffo gonna try out the warp terminal😮
Get ready to face the fact that all the good features are paid. If you're going to do 40 AI queries a month, no problem. 😁
Yo bro I am a windows user.....but still love watching your Mac videos...
It’s time to switch to a Mac laptop. Not desktop if ur into gaming tho. They’re awesome
Bro I am not a gamer...just a student who loves a good and powerful machine...for learning code and productivity...
I have wanted to switch for so long, money is the issue only, plus got laid off last month else would have bought one
exactly what I need as a computer science student nice
warp is amazing honestly, but thanks for the other stuff too!
do you keep your macbook plugged in all the time to the charger?
excuse me do you have notice about your circle edge of screen have small shadow when open with white background? and at the bottom corner of screen?
Hello there can you tell me what is the font name or is the font family you are using
should i keep my macbook pligged in charger while coding everyday it goest to 100 percent then?
Yo bro which moniter you're using?
this is awesome, btw how did you get the date to show in the stylized white box on your menu bar? looks sick
itsycal, i love it
Where can I get the spoitfy icon?
Hi, I'd really appreciate the link you mention at 1:07 . The dafault dock loading time is just too slow, but many guides and most apps just remove the animation altogether instead of improving the reaction time
edit: nvm I managed to fix it easily just from the code you show at that time stamp and from a clutch sub-reddit from like 10 years ago xdd. It was easy even for someone like me, who knows nothing about coding and will start in Semptember a Master's Degree on that matter (can't wait)
Hi, you forgot to leave the notion command for the reducing the dock animation speed. Also, can you share all the ARC/chrome extensions you use. I'm interested.
the link was under a short link: coleca.cc/dock
as far as extensions i mainly just use the speed controller. i'll mention all of them in another video
got a sub from me bro. high quality content
thanks man
how can i have that Quick AI?
How can i get free wallpapers for macOS guys? from where?
Can you tell please, how you changed icon for Arc Browser cause it refreshs every time when you run it
i just did it through the app preferences, never had any issues with it refreshing. when i manually set vscode though that still refreshes every so often
I know you said you like VS Code because of the extemsions, but have you tried Zed?
have not
just got my macbook and I'm coming from windows... Thank you for this
I don’t get it but love the content
is the 14 enough for coding? why didnt you get the 16 inch?
it's definitely tight but I hated carrying around the 16" when I wasn't at my desk.
How can i customize the date in the MacOS menu bar?
Im waiting for the answer too :)
@@banas.grzegorz I found how to do it, it's with an app, it's called itsycal
Bro, I found app named: SketchyBar, but it will be nice if author of video share his configs.
i also use itsycal
do you think a m2 pro 16gb 512gb is enough for CS studies in 2024?
almost. I am using m1 air 8gb and 256gb for 2 years and I don’t know what lags mean
Yes, computationally, but I would recommend 1TB storage if it's your only device. Also check if your school is primarily windows or mac so you know if you'll need a VM or access to a lab.
probably, everything i've done has been light compute wise
where is notion page?
which one?
for the dock: coleca.cc/dock
for my vscode setup: coleca.cc/vscode
ASDF is a good alternative to nvm. Works for most languages too.
Ohmyzsh - oh my seashell - z (zee) sh (shell)
Great video Cole!
missed yabai, skhd and skethybar
cringe "coding" vs based "programming".
lmao
this comment gives "I've been coding in python for 2 months" vibes
First
Now put VS Code to trash and type “nvim” in your terminal like a man
no
@@ColeCaccamise 😦
As a neovim user I don't treat vscode users seriously.
As an another nvim user, I agree
whatever that fucking means
