have had one for 15 years or so.. everyday with me... kept it well lubricated. over time from carry the slide finish has worn nearly off on the edges as expected. it is not pretty but I have had no issues in that time . Put on a CT trigger guard Laser and rubber sleeve over the grip. works for me just fine.

It's a revolver stuck in a semi-auto body. "Trans-platformed". An almost legendary "beater pistol".

I have one, and have for several years carried it off and on! I've done so because it's ultra compact...and I've never had a jam or misfire! It's almost inconceivable how easy this gun makes it to carry a 9mm. Very small and light!...is it a joy to shoot? NO! However it is a solid gun for its intended purpose!

Like you, I ended up buying one while not exactly looking for one. Don't let the other guy in the comments fool you... he doesn't know what he's talking about. Read the COUNTLESS other reviews from actual owners who talk about how their PF9s just plain work. No frills, just reliability when it counts. My PF9 isn't my carry gun, just another extra firearm to have hidden around the house, but that doesn't mean I still wouldn't trust my life to it.

My only complaint with the PF9 is its lack of a second strike ability.

Virtually all modern, striker-fired guns also lack re-strike capability, including the Glock line (yes, the PF9 is hammer-fired.)
This is why I favored for so long a DA-capable, hammer-fired pistol such as a Ruger P-series.

No offense but take that and throw it away. Go out and get a shield. Way less recoil, better trigger and wont jam constantly like this will. This gun will get you killed. They break with minimal round count.

None taken. This gun isn't my carry gun.

@triggerman1092 this is the 4th video Iv seen you come about a shield plus,I have many guns a lot of carry guns and Iv have two of these pf9s put hundreds of round through them with no issues just because you spent your whole weeks paycheck on that shield doesn’t mean you gonna be a hater on look up every pf9 video and comment “throw that thing in the trash” it’s a good light carry option if you have a problem guess what keltec has some of the best customer service Iv ever dealt with, they will fix it for FREE and guess what Iv had other way more expensive guns have failures and I don’t automatically think “let me go look up every video on it and be a hater cause it had one failure!!!” Hell it could be user error people like you option shouldn’t be consider go somewhere and quit being a hater for 400$ for a sheild plus you can get way better carry pistol the pf-9 is half that or less

@@Youkilledkenny42069 you poor thing....acting like u know me. Im trying to keep people from making a bad choice that could get them killed. Funny how you said keltec has great customer service. Do u know why?? Because u and everyone else have had to send their guns back to be fixed😂 they have had plenty of practice! Nobody in their right mind would shoot the shield, p365, g3c, hellcat, bersa bp9 and a dozen more guns and then purposely choose the pf9 unless they are a gigantic dumbass. I own alot of pistols and keltec will never again be on that list. And i have shot and owned over 150 different pistols over the last 15 years. Of course i sell and trade them off but i have more experience than the average gun owner

I have one for I don’t even know how many yrs 15+/-… I have shot thousands of rounds through it over the yrs and have NEVER had an issue with it. I trust it just as much as I do my Glock 43x.

You are an idgit. I've owned two of these guns, and I'm getting ready to settle in on my third. I've shot A LOT of rounds through these little fellas, and the only thing I've had as a failure is a friend of mine is left handed. He thought it was a hoot to be messing with the mag release. He ended up not getting the spring seated. The mag got stuck in it,and I about had to send it in to get it fixed, but I got it resolved, and he don't finger Fook my guns anymore.
