I was raised in the church. I'm now 65 and have sung this hymn all my life. It's been in all the brotherhood hymnals we've ever had, but ... UNTIL NOW!!!!! ... I've never noticed the tenor (baritone) line in the last line before. Amazingly sung!! I could listen to this song for hours on end without getting tired of it!!

My Mom and her sisters ( aunts Margie, Jeanette and Uncle William Carlson ) sang this song whenever the family and friends got together. lt was the first song l remember as a child and am blessed for having such a wonderfully choral family, songs like these are the glue that holds families close and together
