Oh praise God and bless you for this. This is another one that could rag out or be boogie woogie treated, but I am also can hear the great lady Mahalia Jackson having some fun with it too. Or even Reverend Peyton. These songs can lend themselves to so much! Keeping this traditional style going is an important first step, making sure folks can hopefully at least follow music if not read it, understand direction for volume and such. Teaching blending can be killer, especially if you have someone with a case of lsd , lead singer’s disease. I applaud what you are doing with these basic tracks, and God bless all of you for obviously putting so much into it.
