What I’ve noticed from buying on eBay is you rarely, I mean rarely get half(or even a third) your money back. I did one time out of 15 purchases this winter but spring is here so I’ll get my paydirt from the river! Nice video Shane!
Thanks. Yeah I only "got my money back" once or twice in 45+ paydirts. It's never a guarantee and they were probably bonus bags, or the vendor found out it was going to me for review. I always expect to lose money doing this (in gold), but it helps others so I enjoy it.
Honestly I think the coolest thing about this paydirt is the silver nuggets, considering how much cheaper silver is I’d love to see more silver oriented paydirts, but that’s just me 😅 and hey at least you got more gold out of this than the alcohol! 😂
So if money is not an option what pay dirt would you recommend for a guy that wants to learn to pan and is tired of running pan after pan with no gold? If I know there is gold in the paydirt I could learn to be more efficient, thank, love the diversity of you videos
Cool Beans What ya expect from Florida ? I know of Zero Native gold in the State. Lived down in Cocoa Beach for three years . Dar be Pirate Gold in that sands. Yea $20.00 in gas would just about do me to hit my panning spot.
Hey man how do you handle screening sluice cons for blue bowl? Wet/dry? I've heard you mention drying something out in crusty rusty before but can't seem to track it down again.
I don't have a blue bowl but I think they're best with just straight cons from the sluice box, no classification needed...I might be wrong on that but I think that's what Bill at Gold-n-detectors told me. As far as getting the gold out from my black sands, I just take a spoonful at a time and use my blue finishing pan, and grab the gold as I see it with the snuffer bottle. I hope this helps, if I answered the right thing..

I beg your pardon, but you seem to be a little mistaken, I'm sorry. Chalcopyrite does indeed usually contain a small amount of gold, but normally in single figures grams per ton in concentrates even when economic.

The listing caught my eye for some odd reason, although it could have been that photo. The more I looked at it, the more I realised that the 'nuggets' were the only gold you'd probably find. Given the mesh size, I'm not too surprised. Normally with panning, sometimes, 10 cents can look a million dollars and then times like this, 10 cents looks about right. At less than half of an acceptable minimum amount, it is a shocking deal.
Still trying to see the 25+ nuggets added. To me, a nugget is any single placer piece over 1 gram. Look me up when you come to AZ... I'll show you around. Cheers! Chris.

Very interesting video! Other than misuse of the word “nugget”, I believe they kept their word of 25 “pieces”. They did say 30 mesh, so you’d have to confirm that the pieces were at least bigger than 40 mesh. Silver and ore included. They should double the gold amount, but I will say, I was surprised you got that much. I wouldn’t buy that product, but were they dishonest, eh... up for debate. chalcopyrite use greek pronunciation ch is k it's the yellow stuff in the quartz seems. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chalcopyrite Something you need to keep an eye out for when doing these is possible diamonds. They are often found near gold all over the world. I saw a couple maybes in this video, small extremely clear pieces of crystal you might think are quartz but are far clearer than quartz. BTW when you come to California, especially if you are anywhere near the Bear River, be ready to see a TON of super heavy white sands in your cons, it's even heavier than black sand.. What it is is zircon powder.

That's why I would never buy gold paydirt you know if there was any Pickers in it or nuggets whoever put the dirt in the bag would have picked them out complete rip-off you could take your $26 and buy a silver eagle and have enough cash left over to get a cheeseburger or a half gram of gold from a local coin shop. Yeah, that pay dirt is indeed a scam; the "nuggets" are small flakes, and the silver seems to have been melted down with a blowtorch over a bucket of water; probably from a bar of silver solder. The only benefit on this one is the decent review.
Yeah there's not much gold for the money, but I think most people know they're not going to make money. You have to come up with a "fun factor" and how long it takes. That's got to be worth something 👍

My first clue is that you said their location was Florida USA? That is NOT how someone from Florida (or any other state) would say they are from (or at). With the claim of "Gold Nuggets" and you didn't even get ONE I would say it is a scam seller. IMHO
