0:48 this reinforces the idea that the Chaos system doesn't punish you for being "evil", but that it just confronts you with the natural consequences of your own actions.
Always liked Daud better than Corvo. He had the feel of philosophical noir-ish detective. While Corvo is my high chaos playthrough, I could never do a high chaos playthrough with Daud because I feel like his pragmatism and professionalism would prevent him from killing anyone but his target and people who stood in his way.
SoundtrackOfGaming I think the opposite he says he's killed enough nobles to float a boat with their blood. Dauds a professional but he is willing to slaughter if the situation warrants it. And it usally does.
@@babelyubelbarever4591 and because dauds kit doesn't have stuff like devouring swarm and whirlwind which can kill people with just casting the ability. Dauds kit isn't that versatile but I understand having a thorough set of powers isn't really practical when writing a dlc
@@vishnueashwar daud's base kit (unupgraded) in the beginning of the game are his canon abilities (for example he doesn't have dark vision which is why corvo can sneak up to him). everyone that is marked by the outsider gets different abilities and daud only got very practical ones that helped him in assassinating people and he was very efficient with them. corvo got more witch-like shit.
I let him live. Depending on how you play the game as corvo in the main story line. If you just sneak in and steal his pouch you will get a cutscene where you just see him appear for a brief second and then just run off using blink
While I love seeing the world through Daud's view, but the fact that the Knife Of Dunwall, however infamous he was, his ending will be in the hand of a man whose badassery is comparable to that of his own! That really hammers in the fact that the title of Lord Protector is not be trifled with! Just any other man would only be able to hold his grudge on Daud for as long as he lives, but that's not the case for the one Royal Protector, now that they both are on the same level of playing field!
Yeah. -Just kill her -Knock her out, then send her into the Void painting yourself -Switch out the Void painting without her noticing (the look on her face must be priceless!)
They made Corvo's fighting style like this to make it easier but the real fighting style of Corvo Attano is like the assassins creed fighting style with sweep kicks and stuff I have a great example of this fighting style in a video I made.

But Corvo is a whirlwind and an extremely dangerous madman in high chaos he's really badass while Daud looks like an old veteran with super powers.
that's only because Corvo doesn't have a va in the first game

I don't think I've ever seen that one. Still finding new things with this game years later. I'll have to test this out.
I can't seem to find a video for that lol, time to do another playthrough ig
you are just lying. Imagine lying for videogame likes lmao how pathetic
The first time I realized that it was Corvo I screamed of horror for some reason

Agreed.
by far the most underated character of all time!
Not by any means, I would say Daud is one of the most popular characters of this franchise
I love this game but I wish it had more choices that would affect the story.

Kim Jong Chill p
Kim Jong Chill same
In Dishonored and Dishonored 2, especially in the sequel, you have many choices that affect the story. This is only shot side story in DLC after all
@@tinheart2853 dishonored 2,despite loving serkonos and all...is just a recycled brigmore witches
2:07 why was he so smooth with it
All this is beginning to make sense now that I'm stuck in quarantine too.
8:10 when i first played the dlc and before i saw that Lizzie was unconscious i thought she died
Lol
The thumbnail main theme of brigmore witches be like:I swear the witch made me do it I swear I'm innocent!
I will never be able to undo my actions, but that won't stop me from trying
Interesting... never saw that method of neutralizing her non-lethally. So there are at least three ways to end it.

Yeah.

Last night I played the Overseer mission and got Lizzy out pretty quick
Daud>Corvo
thank you gamers little playground! the storyteller has awesome voice in this one
He's like a watch guard with the outsiders mark
Wtf.
He just doesn't wear a hood.

After bringing the engine coil,
I killed all of the Eles
i'm sad corvo is high chaos in the official story here. they show him "seeking revenge" and killing people :(
The official story says that he spared Daud, even the sequels does that.
why are you lying, low chaos is cannonical

Man. :(
Now I feel bad for ABSOLUTELY BODYING HIM in my game as Corvo
Daud's the best and these dlc's are as well,
Daud is such a bad ass
8:15 Big OOF moment, let me guess, you were playing on an Xbox weren't you?
i wish i could play this dlc in ps3 😭😭
Did your game crash when you picked up Lizzy?
When it did that I thought something was wrong with my laptop.
The Outsider said "no".
its really funny because i didn't kill him...but thats just because i like his voice actor.
What is funny about that?
It's the canon option.
Dat vid title though.
do you still play as corvo
No you do not
+HaloSpartan670 You play as Daud, "The Master Assassin" or "Knife of Dunwall", the one who killed the empress.
10:12 witch
Fr I've always tried to kill her ,😂
yeah i found out
how come the void gaze in the ps4 version doesn't say anything when u activate it? its pretty blank and lame tbh i prefer the creepy voice on it
NomKarver it does for me
so ended up with daud killing connor or connor killing daud = v
...
Pa dibro je
Daud=emo
Ugandan Sergeant get the fuck out of here
I'm confused
I'd say that's more Corvo.
Daud is more like the "hard-boiled Noir detective"
