Very honestly narrated by Sawani Shetye mam. She is one of the upcoming young archeologists and historians of Kokan Goa and Maharashtra. Young people can take this field under guidance like archeologists like her

Fascinating to get such in-depth information of these carvings and architecture, along with the history.. The carvings are really so intricately done! Learned new terms and concepts through this video alone.. e.g. the Veergall (Hero-stone).. It's a commendable thing to honour them.. so well-thought of! Off-topic, Swarg-Mandap is such a beautiful word!!! :)
Many poignant moments in the video, not just to hear of the Islamic invasions but to see the defaced idols as well..
The Devanagari inscription by the king of the Yadava Dynasty made me a bit emotional too.. So nice of them to say that they will continue the work as well as rituals that were going on since the dynasty before them, and that the inscription will hold true till the sun & moon stay in the sky! That's a commitment only true warriors & kings will make..
The video overall was very emotional, as you also narrated it with a lot of passion! The dancers indeed look like they were paused in movement.. remarkable talent of the sculptors!!! Will look forward to part 2 and travelling back in time as a result of your storytelling!

@@sawanishetye Yes, please do..!! As the terms & concepts itself are intriguing and beautiful. Bhumij / "emerging from the earth" itself is such a poetic concept! :)

It’s just 1.5 hours or so from Kolhapur, and 20th d from Narsobachi Wadi. You can plan a day trip from Kolhapur.
Narsoba Wadi + Khidrapur and then via Nipani come back to Goa.

First of all thank you for writing such a kind review. It’s my attempt to create interest and teach the language that each murti speaks so next time any viewer visits any temple they’ll be able to recognise and appreciate . This I hope will help in general temple visit experience. What we know of our ancestors is just 10% they were masters and super genius. The more I know of them I can only thank universe that I have been in Bharat.

Thanks a lot Sawani for the detailed explanation, I had the wonderful opportunity of visiting this grand architecture and beautifully carved temple but couldn't find the details of the iconography.
Now I can relate to them , is it possible to link your youtube to Wikipedia or any popular search where the details can be obtained at once by any visitor searchingfor the same?
