Beg to differ, I swapped out my stock rear footpad for the Kush Nug Hi, no real comfort besides the concavity. Swapped it out for a Craft & Ride Air Pad.. waaay better.
I added the Lowboys last year on my GT and they’ve made a good difference in engagement and activation as well as not feeling as tippy. I am interested in trying some flared lowboys though. I tested one of Austen Silva’s boards a few months ago where he had the flared pads on and I could tell a huge difference in leveraging my carve. Does anyone else have real world experience with the Flared Lowboys? Trying to decide whether to get the soft compound or hard compound…
same here with the stock footpads on my XRC, I was bummed. I got the flared and it doesn't seem to do it anymore for me that i have noticed. Also, I switched to vans for shoes and seemed to solve the issue completely using the flared footpads and vans.
The best footpads are made by The Float Life
I agree

I got the soft GT lowboy footpads for my GTS in November, they did make a difference for the better, I like them.
Sounds like youre not too hyped on the surestance wooden pads for the pint....they look cool, is that all theyre good for?
Kush, Next Question
I wish I had a option while buying my board . "To be honest."

GT flare for me
the wood footpads were something special at first but they started peeling apart after less than a week
Mine keeps cutting out at well over 2 mph. Wtf guys? I thought that was impossible?
Yeah, same problem for me too. It’s scary.
Did you get any notification in the app? My lowboys on my xrc were giving me warnings in the app until i got gripples from thefloatlife now its fixed.
