  • A little switching action by the BNSF Front Range local. This video was shot in south Loveland, Colorado. The local is picking up a car from a lumber reloading operation. After this switching operation, the train will head up the line toward Ft. Collins performing more pickups and deliveries along the way.
Hope you enjoy and thanks for watching.

Thanks Walter, I need to start using my tripod. I have another video I'm trying to post by the weekend. Usually catching a train along the BNSF Front Range Sub here means long hours waiting. The trains don't run on much of a set schedule. So I have plenty of time to setup and use the tripod. I waited 2 or 3 hours waiting for a train on Saturday. I taped it at one location and then chased up the line so I could get on the west side of the tracks because it was after 4:00PM and the sun was getting too low to get a good shot from the east side of the tracks. Sometimes, railfanning can be fun and a challenge at times.

I know it can be frustrating, I always try to get the best light when I have the time, but some times you just do the best you can LOL
