Great interview. The Moderator really didn't shy away to ask the difficult questions. And i was surprised they never said "no comment". Also, it's great to see that Sergey, like Larry, hasn't been influenced by the PR department to much yet. He really gives honest questions, and not just "PR answers" like most other high level executives. You see that Vic is much better at this, giving more fluid answers, but they are much more... scripted.
One of the projects Sergey is working on I bet is a cloud based weather prediction service connected to the handheld sensors like Barometer in the new Nexus. Making it possible to make short term, very local weather predictions. You could get a message on your phone saying, "it will probably start to rain within 5 minutes where you are".
I think with respect to Vic, he's seems more fluid because he's probably more often in front of the camera. As such, he has probably had to provide similar answers and in doing so, revised them which has resulted in this impression that it seems more scripted. My point is it's not so much an artificial construction but as a result of natural, habitual process.
Damn you, Vic. Before you joined Google I really trusted the company. Now I feel your invisible hand on my shoulder, softly but firmly forcing me to do things. I have no interest in Google+. I liked the old reader. I liked the old chat. I want separate accounts. But you push us around to beat facebook. It's not surprising that you worked on Microsoft "Platform Evangelism." I used to love Google, but thanks to your aggressive marketing I no longer trust Google. Good job, man.
"...There's a reason why every thought in your head does not come out of your mouth..." LOL! love that :))

Good and informative interview. I'm very much looking forward to seeing how Google+ continues to unfold.
It flopped, hard!

Sublime.
Sergey had no idea what John was talking about when he said (at 7.00), "Would not have been faster enough if it is integrated with Facebook Connect?"
I like Sergey's honesty. Vic seem too much like a spin doctor.
