I applied for the Salvimar sponsorship but didn't stand a chance against you and the quality content you're getting! Super stoked they picked you, loving the videos keep it up man!
Like most weapon systems you need to line up the rear sight with the foresight to get an accurate shot. On a speargun there aren't any sights so you need to do you best in getting the tip of the spear lined up with the fish on a straight trajectory. If the fish is swimming quite fast then you may need to give it some lead depending on which direction it is travelling. As a good rule of thumb i like to always aim at the gill plate of the fish. Hope that helps
From what I know the 115 comes with 7.5 mm shaft. Also what do you think of the gun and does it bother you that tje front of the gun floats more than the back. Also do you think carbon fins are worth it?
I have nothing bad to say about the gun. It seems very heavy when its out of the water but as soon as it's under water it's perfect. Personally i think they are, they are a game changer when it comes to long days out. You wont cramp up as much
Cool video! Could you make one showing how to load the two rubbers and mount the setup? And could you ask to salvimar how much it would be for that complete pack? Thank you greetins from Spain!!!
Awesome video dude, I've enjoyed the spearfishing in Cornwall so much I think we are going to try and move there as a family 😁 Brilliant fish, good effort 😎👍
Great news. Yes the South West and Cornwall coast have some fantastic places. Some people take it for granted down here. Great news about thinking about moving down, fish for dinner every night 😉🤔
@@TheOutdoor_Guy its a beautiful part of the UK, I think I'll have to work on my skills a fair bit before I manage to get fish every night though 😅. That said I did pull off a few nice catches, even managed to spear 2 mackerel while I was there 😁🎯🤿🐟
Massive difference, they don't even feel like they're there to be honest. Legs don't get as tired after spending all day in the water the whole process feels effortless.
AWESOME video man ! im looking for my 1st spear gun for shore diving...what do you thing about Salvimar Hero Tomahawk 95 ? or is hero roller better ? thanks !
dude… salvimar sells socks AND gloves in that camo pattern … you HAVE to get yourself some ! just kiddin‘ nice pray … by the way 😅 how does the suit feel? the camo pattern looks awesome and the 3D print ist mental !
Bet your loving the carbon fins they are the way forward! 👍 how you liking the longer gun? Also how is the mask with the built in mount? Im using a strap head mount atm which is not the best tbh thinkkng of a new mask.
The carbon fins are bloody awesome. The gun is really good when it comes to longer shots but up close it can be a bit awkward, that's just down to the length though. I'm liking the mask mount as it's stress free and you don't have to worry about the strap coming off. I find it much better personally.
Great Video! Just wondering what you thought of the wetsuit and is this the 101 version of the krypsis? Does the extra 0.5mm make a difference? How's the compression?
Iv'e used it all year and throughout the winter months. Personally I didn't really feel the cold. (probably the lockdown fat keeping me warm) Ive got a friend who has the 7mm and says he can stay in the water all day. What exactly do you mean by the compression? If your talking about how it feels wearing it.. Its mega stretchy and you can barely feel the squeeze
Hi mate How do you find having a 115? Do you use it most of the time? I usually dive in fairly good Vis 5 meter plus, and I'm considering getting a longer gun as my main gun. Cheers for the great content 😊
Some people say that it's too long but i think it works great especially when the vis is really good and the fish don't come in so close. Allows you to hit shots that you wouldn't normally do on a smaller gun. Thanks for the feedback
Exactly the same as a diver I imagine. Pinch your nose and push the air out until you feel a slight squeeze. I tend to do this every metre i go down as to not cause any trauma to my ears.
The products were sent from Salvimar (Italy) to the Spearfishing UK shop. I then drove down to pick it up. A great UK based company. You can find the link to their website in most of my videos. The kit is
Pros - very accurate, sensitive trigger pull, it's filled with foam so if you knock it, it won't make a clanging noise. Moulded hand grip which is very comfortable. Cons - 115 is too long for the UK waters, quite heavy out of the water. But it doesn't make a difference as when it's in the water it's weightless Hope that helps. I'm going to do a review on it over the winter months
Hi yes I'm looking at getting a dive watch . I have been looking at salvimar one plus or the deeper as all the rest are quite expensive ,so a review would be very helpful 👍
my friend it's ok i'm a big fan of your work and i admire a lot i live in brazil and i always dreamed of being a great diver just like you are but unfortunately i dive with normal clothes i don't have a wetsuit yet but one day i will have many of vesis me me chime with live water anemones is difficult but I believe that one day I will have an arbalet and a clothes but while this dream does not come true I live dreaming and watching your videos a strong abrasion
