Oh yeah, new fonts have arrived in the development version. Also shaping up nicely is the multicolor satin stitch and tartan fill. But wait, there's more....
Besides fonts, is there a library of small preprogrammed, but complex embroidery patterns? Emojis, hearts, moon phases, weather symbols? I would love to be able to embellish small items with personal touches like a little flower bouquet or balloons. I would be nice if some of these designs that would be smaller than 1" or 2.5cm were in drop down menus.
Looks great. have a horrible feeling this will not run on my old mac but fingers crossed (will have to make sure I have a backup of current install, just in case)
Hi, I am new to embroidery, I just purchased the Brother PE545, I made a few things up last night BUT I cannot find any video on how to create a badge in inkscape/inkstitch. I know I may be asking too much but is it possible for you to do a video on how to design a small badge in inkscape/inkstitch? I know how to finish it out, I just don't know how to create the pattern. I see hundreds of videos with them already uploaded to the machine but never made in inkscape. I would greatly appreciate it if and when you can do it :) Matter of fact, your video is the first I cam across last night and I used your video to make my first monogram pattern :)
@LowTechLinux Ricoma is Big 💰 Bucks. 😆 I do have a colleague who sells work garments and uses a Toyota multi 🪡 needle unit. I have to wait to grow up to get a Toyota 😆
We have a ricoma em1010 and a ricoma 1501mt. We started out with the 1010. When I realized it sucks for hats I got the 1501. If I could have a do over I'd go straight to the 1501
Ah Yes. Hot Man on Stitch action!
Thanks for the new video!

They don't have that yet, but it's good thing to throw into their wishlist on github.
oh looks exciting

As long as it'll run the required version of inkscape and python you should be good
I had trouble with the last version and had to use the old params files.
my mac runs latest inkscape & python is 3.12.3 so as I said, fingers crossed

I've been wanting to do some patch stuff with inkstitch, just been too busy to do a lot
Does it generate PES files for Brother devices?
Yes. I used it for pes for brother until we needed dst for ricoma. I still make pes for some folks too.
Save as SVG first, then save as dst.
