several month ago I was co-learning English with a friend. she wanted to take IELTS exam. we lost contact for some reason. I took the IELTS exam, and I could score 7. after that I applied for teaching English in institutions. finally I could find a job, and now I'm an official teacher! I'd gain motivation and inspiration from her to become a teacher. I wonder if she ever reads this comment. I know she would watch youtube for learning English and I hope she sees my comment. I miss you very, very much my dear friend. I hope she could score a good point in IELTS exam too. I still love you, I hope see you someday....I won't forget you.
Hi Alisha, I've a question. I remember seeing "only" at the end of a sentence also. Are these examples gramatically correct? "These seats are for visitors only." "I eat bagles for breakfast only." Thank you for your lesson!
Thanks a lot Alisha. It¨s so interesting to realize how the position of this word in the sentence can express different meanings. Greetings from Cd. Delicias, Chih. México. My name is Arturo Sotelo. I love you.
Only I love Alisha when she is teaching us I only love Alisha when she is teaching us I love only Alisha when she is teaching us I love Alisha only when she is teaching Got it!!
Hi Alicia, thanks I 've learned new today. Could you help me, I'm confuse which one below is grammatically correct. ex. #1 : I have only 1 card. ex #2 : I only have 1 card.
Okey dokey n Thank you for sharing this lesson! Am I allowed to use the word many times in the same sentence? For example: Usually I only watch this only teacher from the Channel.
could you please make a video on how to use only in these kind of sentence...like for example I'm here only i want to talk here only you complete ur study then only you can get a job.. please..make a video on this
Could you please tell me which is the correct usage? The books are available to the new students only. OR The books are available only to the new students.
In India only is placed after price of any thing. For say, It costed me Rs. 50 only. Is this correct? Because only is the last word and it is not modifying any other word here.
I love your channel, but, this kind of white board videos always have very small voice... So, I'd be very happy if it would be turned up (like 'ask Alisha' or 'know your verbs' videos). Thank you!!
Please could you tell me is it correct or wrong: Q: Teacher # How many head do you have? Ans: Student: I have one only head. is the answer correct or wrong? if wrong, then give the correct answer.
I think this channel has a video about it, just search. Not only that, it's probably Alisha answered all grammar common questions in the English language. :)
Not only are you a beautiful woman but also a great teacher . Here, is it correct that i put the verb ( are) before the subject ( you ) and is it called an inversion ?
@@fabriciogoncalves3486 thank you Fabricio ,but i think that in case of ( not only ...but also) we put the verb at the begining ,i know it seems like a question but it's not
Nawar Nawar When you start a sentence with a word por phrase that has a negative connotation, the main verb (verb to be or any modals) or the auxiliary verb goes before the subject.
