Also note that at 9:14 in the video you put two "columns" in place on the right wheel well/body side construct. These are important in the last few steps joining the engine compartment to the chassis - but the instructions never discuss them again. Engine hoses will need to be inserted in these impossibly small components.
Hi Wayne I have now finished pack 12 there appears to be an issue with the hydraulic pipes (black) that come from the bottom of the engine they are twin pipes but no indication of where they plug into. Will be interested to see what you do when you come across them. And finally the engine cover fits badly ie does not close snuggly when the model is completed, for this price I think that is not great.
Hey Wayne, how are your panel gaps, especially around the doors? I really want to build this one but I’m seeing many people complaining about poor alignment on panels.
I found this whole build very difficult with poor instructions, terrible illustrations and poorly fitting pieces. Some suggestions: at 2:06 in the video, the wiper needs to be glued. The sticky doesn't stick. (Same with the La Ferrari tab at13:23.) At 3:30 the front undercarriage required significant manipulation to fit but even after screwing in place the tabs wouldn't fit under the front bumper. And just wait for the last 4 stages - Construction becomes frustratingly complex.
Agree on that need to keep the swear box handy when doing pack 12. Following Wayne up to pack 12 though was a great help. However pack 12 I did manage to do myself.
