- Welcome back to Shedtour! This week, the guys head deep into the back country with enough food to last them three days on their back. They head into a zone where they glassed up 10 bull elk that have already shed their antlers. They spend the next few days grid, searching the area hoping to find fresh brown elk antlers. To their surprise, they eventually find a pocket of brown elk sheds you have got to love backpack style shed hunting when the plan comes together.

I always say the best videos have the whole trip included. I love seeing water filtering, camp setup, cooking, eating, fires, etc, etc. Just hiking and pickups would get boring.

I LOVE the raw footage, its a big part of why hush's shed videos are my favorite. Its hard to find other channels that dont just jump all over the place with no explanation of how or why they got there. I watch for the journey.
It's not so much the squirrels here in central washington. It's the chipmunks aka timber tigers and the damn porcupines! I've found fresh elk sheds that have every dagom point chewed to schite!

Personally, I’d rather hear the rushing water and the crackling fire than the music; it makes it feel more like “I’m there” than production footage. Keep up the GREAT content.

at 3:36 did that little buck not shed his antlers? is that a common thing with younger bucks?
I think the only deer species that hold antlers for another year is a spike bull? I’m not sure though we have a spike here in western Montana still running around with his while other bulls have already sprouted like trees lol
@@Trevor-wm9su that's what i was curious about, was driving through wyoming about a week and a half ago and decided to go take a look at some BLM land and saw a big muley buck that already had some nubs sticking out of his head. The bucks around where i live in CA already have their eyeguards formed and are starting to split.
