I absolutely loved the way Bret slowed Ben down and got him to explain things. Ben is so used to seemingly exist at 2x speed, he often leaves me in the dust, and I've been following his channel for two years and did the homework, most of it twice.
For new people, watching Ben is like drinking out of a fire hose and the way Bret turned this into a conversation was masterfully done!
I also truly enjoyed when Bret challenged Ben a little bit about the crust stuff. That's my first time ever seeing Ben on his back foot like that, and it was ok because Bret gave him a way to gracefully say it's the best theory to fit the evidence.
Ben is, as Bret said in the intro, THE most knowledgeable person on the planet when it comes to all these things together. And Bret is exceptionally knowledgeable in his own right, and a master interviewer as well.
This may be the best video in this format that I've ever seen, here's hoping it's not also the *last* video in this format I ever see!

My question is regarding the experiments using magnetic rotating spheres in a laboratory environment. Have there been more complex versions of this experiment using multiple spinning spheres of varying magnetic amplitudes? What happens if you simulate the galactic balance in some way? With one very powerful magnet to represent the galactic core, a small magnet to represent a solar object, and tiny magnets to simulate planets? Then you can send them spinning while revolving around each-other in order to see what exactly happens in each magnetic field. What happens? Does it create a mini-nova?

Yeah. Love Ben. I don't mind rewinding and replaying Ben's short videos to better grasp the facts. I love learning and sometimes that means listing and seeing and hearing multiple times while critically thinking and reaching for understanding. Its super exciting when I begin getting it. If learning isn't a motivator for you, you are missing much of what is most important in life, like living in the real and ultra fascinating world as God intended. Knowing truth and always seeking more. It is satisfying in and of itself.

I'm vaguely familiar with such a phenomenon, yet I've always considered a pole shift as an infinitesimally small probability.
I see now that I am completely ignorant, and understand nothing. I'm hoping that there will be increased awareness and educational discussions of solar weather in the near future. At this moment, I wish there were diagrams that would allow better clarity. 💥💫

the problem with prepping for such an event, unless everybody prepares, we'll always be struggling against those who didn't prepare. weapons might help, but not if the others don't have better weapons, or more skill/strength
This is brainwashing from Hollywood apocalyptic movies. When something really bad happens, history shows that humans behave the opposite of those movies. They don’t fight each other, they gather up, help each other and find solutions.
Going to take fairly large tribes of trustworthy people to team up and stop raids while others do all the other chores. Hopefully the big event won’t happen for at least another 100 years.

Just like to point out that without electricity doesn’t take us back to the Stone Age but more like the Victorian era. For me, my grandparents lives were mostly off grid with outdoor facilities, so that’s not that long ago.

Check it out........HE has videos on REAL space SCIENCE and debunks a lot of what were being told. The earth castastrophe is just one of many. Also Doug Vogt @ Diehold Foundation/institute. His studies and evidence are VERY similar to Ben's but different outcomes that will occur in the future.

Been listening to Never-A-Click-Bate Ben of SuspiciousObservers on YT for many years now. 2 to4 minutes each morning. He does updates during the day ONLY when there is something that will affect or likely will affect all of us or to squash hype being put out by others including the govt. He is serious about science. Love him & his wife Kat. While I found DarkHorse today, it was due to John Haller's Prophecy video (on YT) oddly enough, not because Ben mentioned doing an appearance. I forgot about that. Ben is a MUST. He's my Number 1 & almost exclusive advisor when it comes to solar weather and other Scientific topics. Facts, common sense & only that. When he theorizes, he tells you he is theorizing, but he doesn't do that often. He loves the truth and is great at finding it through observation; real science.

This was an amazing education. Could not help but think about Graham Hancock and Randall Carlson's catastrophe theories and how they line up with the solar flare cycles and civilizations. Fascinating, but being old, poor, mildly prepared and nearly defenseless the only consolation is the serenity prayer at this point.
Except I'm having trouble with the idea both a giant comet and a micronova hit simultaneously 12000 years ago.

I used to follow Ben At Suspicious Observers. I once questioned (politely) some of his climate conclusions. His response was to throw insults and F bombs my way with a great deal of arrogance and vitriol. Not an effective method of conveying one's message. Just a player with a money making scheme.
I can confirm this. He is the most vitriolic toxic "youtuber" I've ever communicated with. I commented on a video asking where I could see the date in his solar observatory footage, and rather than tell me where my eyes should be looking along with a timestamp, he threw a bunch of insults and hearted his own comment. And to be clear, I asked him politely

To be fair, he does get the same questions over and over again. Most of the info he discusses is documented in detail on his website, but you have to dig for it. I imagine he’s on the spectrum. Not an excuse for bad behavior.
Just because he was an a-hole doesn't delegitimize his hypothesis. Many "scientists" (especially mainstream ones) tend to be arrogant pricks. Seems to be par for the course in that field... and has been for hundreds, if not thousands, of years.
Bret can't let us die without having us first feel severe anxiety.
It's just another possibility in the plethora of traumatizing events that could change mankind.

Yeah, that pulled me out of it. How does Ben know his models are right, if all the dates are wrong. I think the idea of the sun having regular mini novas is likely good but he mixed in a bunch of other ideas that weaken the theory.

Interesting, but needs more numbers and plots. The combination of using qualitative language and his use of superlatives makes him come across as alarmist. At 45:00, the rate of magnetic pole change went up “greatly” at XYZ years? I don’t want that, I want “went from X km/yr to Y km/yr” ideally with a historical plot and an explanation of how historical numbers were sourced or inferred.

You're pretending that Ben has lowered some arbitrary standard you hold but completely missing the point. He's not giving a scientific presentation in this particular interview, so your comment about him not reaching a standard doesn't make much sense. Sounds to me like you just desperately want him to be portrayed as lacking rigor because you already don't like him for whatever reason.
