Actually it wasn't. Total Science was absolutely on fire at this time. They lost their sound for a hot minute when people made the poor decision at the turn of the millennium to ditch all their hardware thinking that software only studios were going to be the wave of the future. In the process they v learned they couldn't clip their drums via analogue like they used to as it didn't translate into the digital realm at that point in time. I'm not making this up. They said all this in an old Knowledge Mag interview. They hired Baron, who was huge at the time, help them learn how to use Ableton or Reason and the rest is history. I still don't think they found that drum crunch ever again but nevertheless they will always be top tier artists and always surrounding themselves with like minded artist such as Zero Tolerance and Beta 2.😊
