    Plasma cannon servitor is legit. I don't know why, but despite doing almost no damage, he absolute destroys every piece of terrain and throws people all over the place. It's almost comical. Which is really good for cleaning annoying people out of cover. Other than that, yeah, the tech guys seem to mostly exist to soak damage. Which they're not even very good at.
    With all the armor destruction in the expansion I wish the tech marine had a way to "repair" armor. Maybe with his mech heal thing, it also repairs all broken armor plates? They don't seem big on fixing things with patches, but if they did I'd really love that one. It's a small but thematic upgrade.

    love these, just getting into the game now, with the DLC enabled. Never got into craftworlds yet, but wanted to jump into legendary, since I was getting bored with easier difficulties, so I thought of doing some research first. Sounds to me like I'll get my butt kicked. Watching your let's plays now, would love it it you started a new campaign with the DLC!!

    I usually use my dreadnaught to start the fight by having him charge toward the guy with the +4 stun aura and punch him in the face which nullifies all his stun hp. Then I have my interceptor teleport on top of him and execute. This gives me +1 AP which gets me rolling.

    THE PLASMA CANON SERVITOR IS AMAZING!
    Enemy uses cover well and he destroys cover and/or tosses them from cover, he can also throw enemies of cliffs
    Also the support fire servitor kills anyone below with ho beliw his dmg so 3lvl with awaken machine he kills amyone on 10hp or below
    Try also psycannon purgator with deathzone and plasma canon dradnaught, the aoe is REAL

      Ill be honest. I didnt think of using the plasma canon servitor as a way to destroy cover to make it easier for range units to shoot. I might give it a try.

      Personally, I love to use Bolter/overwatch servitor. It takes 1AP to deploy it, but it shoots up to 3! times.
      Best way to use it to cover your Melee Knight, and it guns down all melee attackers against your Melee knight, who is protected by overwatch.
      It shoots 3 times even if enemy just stands still, doing nothing, delivering about 9 damage.

    I sadly realise that the dreadnought is absolutely useless ...you cant even use him for boss fights or the last mission lol. The devs rly need to fix that !

      Also they can't be teleported by librarians and can't get ap from other brother's executes even though the table rules say the otherwise. So, our ancient brother definitely needs more love from the game developers.

    techmarine is only for support the dreadnough.... a shame, but I got one with the eternal skill and works fine destroying armours in melee, a huge damage vs armored enemies

    Isn't it possible to move+provoke then teleport switch with you interceptor (ofc it's one or two more AP but maybe it worth it?) ?

      On lower difficulties, yes. On legendary, no. The enemy has too much health for you to waste so many actions points on just setting up a single ability.

    Sooo currently i use the dreadnought with the multi melta and missle pod (long too short range heavy support build) it works really well however...
    The dreadnought wont seem too perform supporting fire. I thought it was exclusive too the Lascannon weapon at first but after using the Lascannon... the ability still wont activate.
    Could anyone pls can tell me if im just being stupid or is this a glitched or bugged mechanic.

    How to get more weapons for Techmarines?

      As you progress through the game and level your techmarine he will eventually unlock higher level weapons and servitors under loadout section, all of which can be purchased with Archeotech.

    Psilancer with high damage+crit damage with crit chance and crit damage gear kills everything in every difficulty.

      @@travellingbriefcase My kill team consists of 2 purgators (one as ammo mule and the other one as striker), one chaplain and one librarian (or one justicar for ap buff). With arcane weapons + words of power + vulnerability my striker purgator can deal 48 crit damage. With preparation turn before the combat I cast arcane weapons and I cast it again after the striker purgator's first attack when necessary. It deals 92-96 (depending on vulnerability) crit damage with 2 attacks and with mental focus, and enduring reflexes I generally have action points refunded and attack again, on single target. So, basically it is easily more than 100 ( 140 if all 4 attacks crit) damage from a single purgator on one turn, nothing can withsand that amount of damage in any difficulty.

      @@buffwarriors agreed. I like the idea with the chaplain for the extra crit damage. I like the warp charge of astral aim on the purgator since it ignores armor, which gets to crazy amounts in legendary. I equipped by librarian with the ignore armor storm bolter for those that survive the attacks of the purgator. Instead of the chaplain I bring a incinerator purifier with the idea that it wipes out the mobs and the purgator 1 and purgator 2 ammo mule wipes out all the big things. I specifically hunted for the ammo mule just to get the talent of +1 ammo just to get him to 14 ammo for arcane weapons

      @@travellingbriefcase Little correction: With vulnerability the max range crit damage with purgator in one shot is not 48 but 46.

      @@buffwarriors I noticed that when I tried your strat and used the chaplain but didn't want to nitpick. I still prefer the purifier instead of the chaplain, I noticed that as strong as the litany for adding the extra crit damage I ended up losing an extra attack character since the librarian, ammo mule and the chaplain all became support to the sniper purgator. The purifier in my build was more balanced since it was able to take care of the mobs and the sniper was able to take out the big mechanicals. But cool strat all the same!

    Duty Eternal DLC really sucks. It makes the game much harder, which is fine, but that's about all it does. The fact that Technophage missions start spawning well before you can actually roster the Dread is absurd and a complete swing and miss. from the devs that has still not been addressed as of April 2024. Dread would be cool if you could deploy him on any mission, but you can't so he isn't. Tech Marine is a worse choice than almost any of the original 8 classes.
    Execution Force DLC is so much better than this one.
