Kyungsoo was definitely already an excellent vocalist during debut, the biggest change was his confidence. Baekhyun was a 4 month trainee and he had killer vocals and dance right away. Chen joined SM the same time and also was/is brilliant. Exo vocal line = legends

For people saying that they look very tired there, you should know that when a group debuts, it's usually the hardest point of their careers. They weren't as experienced, so they were all sweaty there from filming this over and over again where as more experienced groups or even EXO now, they can film a performance in less than 3-5 takes. And Suho is always smiling, because AFAIK he had the longest training period of all the members and he finally got to debut. :)

They lipsync at most of the other music shows at that time but they were singing live here. So, to those haters that said EXO lipsync and whatnot, of course they did lipsync, but it doesn't mean they cannot sing live. It's sometimes up to their company to do lipsync. Tbh, this performance was actually very good considering the high notes and intense choreography. Looking back at those time, I'm so proud of them

And now they considered one of the best vocalist in kpop
Considering this is when they were new, this is really impressive. I feel bad for Baekhyun, D.O. , and Kai though...D.O. and Baekhyun had to hit those high notes and project it, while Kai literally had to scream in addition to the dancing. So kudos to these fine gentlemen.
btw Chan Yeol actually screams with him~ but yeah u r right, I think they were good here..idk why ppl say they sound not good..I mean waaaw dancing and singing at the same time and sound like that is rly WOW (sry for my strange english O.o)
Like any other Kpop group, they do actually lip sync most of their songs. (If you don’t believe me look at most of the monster live stages, you can hear the auto tune). However, during special occasions they do actually sing live, and they sound great!

마치 엑소 데뷔 8주년 기념해준듯이 내 유튜브 알고리즘이 여기로 인도했는데... 그냥 마음이 너무 싱숭생숭하다... 사실 엑소 과거 무대를 볼 때마다 그때를 그리워했던적도 많고 추억들을 떠올리며 즐거워하고 그랬는데.. 멜론 차트보면서 전 날 11시부터 늑미 빼고 차트인해서 12시 자정에 정규 타이틀곡 전부 다 차트인하고,, 너무 좋은 성적을 봐서 행복했고 여전히 굳건하다는걸 느껴서,, 너무너무 좋았다.. 멤버들 모두 팬들과 함께 했던 지난 8년을 축하해준것도 좋았고.. 정말로 이 사람들과는 앞으로도 쭉 함께 할 수 있을 것 같아서.. 정말 우리의 청춘이 엑소인 것 같아서 너무 말로 형용할 수 없을정도로 행복하다..

I watched pdx101, most of the trainees only trained for 3-12 months, they lacked so much. I wondered how crazy SM recruited and found baekhyun and chen, and kyuhyun, they got trained for really limited time, 3months n decided to be in exo and suju. And now they considered one of the best vocalist in kpop

마치 엑소 데뷔 8주년 기념해준듯이 내 유튜브 알고리즘이 여기로 인도했는데... 그냥 마음이 너무 싱숭생숭하다... 사실 엑소 과거 무대를 볼 때마다 그때를 그리워했던적도 많고 추억들을 떠올리며 즐거워하고 그랬는데.. 멜론 차트보면서 전 날 11시부터 늑미 빼고 차트인해서 12시 자정에 정규 타이틀곡 전부 다 차트인하고,, 너무 좋은 성적을 봐서 행복했고 여전히 굳건하다는걸 느껴서,, 너무너무 좋았다.. 멤버들 모두 팬들과 함께 했던 지난 8년을 축하해준것도 좋았고.. 정말로 이 사람들과는 앞으로도 쭉 함께 할 수 있을 것 같아서.. 정말 우리의 청춘이 엑소인 것 같아서 너무 말로 형용할 수 없을정도로 행복하다..
이게 갓 데뷔한 남돌 무대라니...뜨지 않을 수가 없는 그룹이다 진짜..지금 이런 신인 나오면 돌판 술렁일듯 그때는 왜 이렇게 실력안좋은 그룹이라는 이미지가 컸지🤔 지금보니까 진짜 잘하네
